Default Help with album

I've been working on my debut album for quite some time. It's in the vein of Beatles-esque psychedelic pop, with some folk and prog influences. I've tried my hardest to do this completely on my own, writing, playing all the instruments, record and producing all by myself, but I've come to realize that I'm not that great at certain instruments. I'm great at drums, pretty good at piano and a beginner at guitar. This causes problems because it makes my songs sound amateurish and not well put together. I tried to get friends in town to help out, but most all of them were un-reliable. So I decided to come here and ask for help. If anyone plays an instrument and has good quality recording equipment, if you're willing to help out, it would be greatly appreciated.

The point of this thread was to send people songs via email and have them record over them and then email them back. I don't understand why my location matters.

Sounds good. Remember though, I'm looking for a specific sound.

yeah, im gonna write down exactly what you said in the first post and give it to the guy, see if he wants to take it on. since he's kinda the boss of the studio, if he doesnt wanna do it then i cant do anything about it, but i can be pretty persuasive when i wanna, i'll do my best.
