Just start writing. Even if you can't get a full lyric out, at least try to get a few good lines or thoughts out there. Save what you like, trash the rest. Leave it alone for a day or so, then come back and do the same thing. Continue to do this until you have an amount of content sufficient enough to make some stanzas, and eventually a full lyric. Just DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT and it will come together in time.

That's all the advice I can give you, take it or leave it, idc.

I completely agree on this. As we all know that it is really hard to begin writing the first stanza of the song. I'm also having a hard time in writing my first stanza of the song but when I have already started writing a song everything goes smoothly without having notice that it is already done.

I usually end up with page after page of incomplete verses. Then one time I'll sit down and look at them all together then BAM! It'll hit me! (Not the notebook, though that does happen...alot) Rearrange a few lines, add a couple, mix one incomplete verse to another and there ya have it. Main thing, is to find an inspiration or topic or just a theme that makes it all fit together.
