little poem type. What do you think?

I feel like I'm running
Running in the waves
The waves are crashing in
And they keep knocking me down
But I'll be searching
Everywhere under the sun
Just to find out where you are
And I'm ready for it to be far
See I'll never give you up
And I'll never let you down
Why'd you leave me
And why now

I dug it until the last two lines. It went from a hopeful fancy about the future to a quest of desperation to acquire something lost forever, and in this case it was a turn for the worse for me.
