Hi all
These are the lyrics to a new song i just posted. They are some reflections on the life of a biblical character who seemed to have more than his fair share of troubles on account of his beliefs... comments and feedback always welcome

confronting fear and danger
staring death right in the eye
we took a stand
we said we'd fight
for all that we believed in
we stood our ground
we said 'there'll be no compromise'

there's a strength that rises
from within to greet you
once you start to feel the pain
we do not flinch as
we are tossed into the conflict
nor falter as we're thrown
into the lions'den

confronting present dangers
facing situations dire
we stand alone in faith
uncertain of the outcome
as we are thrown headlong
into the raging fire

This may sound funny but somehow reading the title reminded me on a song called Here it Goes Again...

Then I decided to go in for a closer look and I think that your lyrics are very well written.
I'm curious about the biblical character, was it Samson or Esther?
However, thanks for sharing these lyrics.

Thanks for that …. Any resemblance to an existing song is purely coincidental. It was Daniel by the way. The clue was in reference to lions den and raging fire....
