The poem doesn't do much for me. I don't really think its all that good. Not to get harsh, but keep trying. Songcraft (or poemcraft, if thats a word) can get better with experiance and a drive to do better. And maybe you just selected the wrong audience to submit it to. Who knows, maybe you would have better luck with a different demographic... And don't tell people to "f*** off" just because they don't like your work, that makes them cranky (and it makes you look stupid). There will always be people who don't like your work, no matter how good it gets. You have to learn to take criticizm and use it to make your work better. And as Spike*Spiegel said, "The reason for posting in here is so you can get insites from others." If you don't want a chance of bad reviews, don't don't ask for reviews... period.

Yes, lets go for the demographic of suburban bored white 13 year old male, and we could also throw in the comatose, the deaf/blind, and pre-cognisent infants.

I tried to be nice, I tried to offer something you could use, but when I come back to read you telling us to F off, you get what you deserve. And by the way, maybe you could learn something from childrens novels, because you always, always, have something to have readers cling onto (like characters. Idiot. As if children were the only ones who wanted character development...your poem sucked, and we've all lived with what you went through, do you know how unbelieveable common that was?

And Urban, that post above was hysterical. I laughed out loud.

ok well maybe its not the best poem in the world and i know that but there are characters and the main character is me if you would have read it throughly you would have known that.
