Maggot Brain is a very underrated album, Love this album and this band. Some of the guiatr and bass riffs on this album are killer.

Seeing George Clinton live is an intense experience. One of my top 3 concerts of all time.

Actually, out of all of their albums "Maggot Brain" is the most overrated. "Hit it & Quit it" is funky as fuck though.

I have all my brother's original albums except Tales of Kidd Funkadelic but at least I have that on tape. Incredibly influential and underrated especially the older stuff from the early and mid-70s.

"One nation under a groove" was an impulse buy many years ago when I saw it in a bargain basement rack.

The cover was a bit damaged but I figured it was worth risking 50 pence to discover what a track called "Promental****backwashpsychosis enema squad" actually sounded like.

I wasn't disappointed and it's still one of my favourite albums....

Wow, do I feel stupid... I first said "Maggot Brain" isn't overrated and then I said the exact opposite. Well, I guess I wasn't thinking about what I was saying in my first post about "Maggot Brain".

I've never heard of Funkadelic. But don't worry, I'm going to fix that. Maggot Brain is 60% downloaded right now . I'll look into other albums by them as well, One Nation Under a Groove is next.

Seeing George Clinton and the rest of the crew, 'cos Bootsy Collins also does it for me, was awesome!
