Tina Turner!
Anyone going to the Tina Turner concert? I'm going to the NY shows (going on sale soon tomorrow). I was barely born when she was at her peak, but I can def respect a great icon. Do discuss. I'm excited!

Her early stuff with Ike produced a few gems but all bets were off the minute she walked onto the set of Mad Max 3.

She has a good voice, but I agree that her stage presence it what really sets her apart. I'd love to go see her show.
And I love it when she sings "Proud Mary". I know it's been done so many times, but every time I see her sing it, she does a fantastic job, IMHO.

So I've missed her NY concerts by 13 years !?
They don't make 'em like this anymore:-
