There are some authentic soul singers out there today but they are undergound.
The band that Amy uses has a singer that they normal use and she's a great soul singer. I don't recall her name at the moment but I can research it. She writes new songs but they have such an old feel to them. Amy has some talent but it doesn't always show in her live performances.

I like her music, her voice is a different matter. She has personal issues like you wouldn't believe. One of her backing singers is one of the best singers out there at the moment.

I love Amy Winehouse. I went out and bought Stronger Than Me as soon as it was released and then, after some less successful singles, she disappeared for a couple of years. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard about her making a comeback and I rushed out to buy Rehab.

I was lucky enough to see her live this summer. She was just incredible. I'm pretty sure that she was completely sober and she looked like she was really enjoying herself.

I'm genuinely worried about the girl. She's got so much potential and I don't want her to let it go to waste.

I really don't like her music, and I really don't like how the middle-aged white women in my area have flocked to her like she's this amazingly creative be-all end-all phenomenon. She does alot of covers (Me And Mr. Jones?!?), and her original music is kind of annoying. I think she'll fade out before too long. I certainly wouldn't consider her Jazz. She's just a part of this neo-pop thing going around where all the big fads have some sort of quirk to them.

BBC NEWS | England | London | Winehouse is arrested by police

I am deeply aggrieved.

It comes with the territory, atleast she's an interesting celebrity in retrospect. I ****ing hate these british comedy sketches that twist her lyrics about, i was watching one the other day with the perfect example of what a **** pun is, 'my dad tried to make me mow the lawn and i said mow mow mow' it was something **** like that anyway. She needs to be left the **** alone, great singer, and she is hardly boring to read about so what the **** is wrong with her exactly?
