Default The Style Council

Some of the best white Soul out there, the Style Council was a duo formed by the founder of the Jam, Paul Weller, and keyboardist Mick Talbot. Man could these guys work a synthesizer and guitar combo! Weller's voice really shines here, brighter and more mature than his vocal work with the Jam, while his songwriting remains just as poignant. Paul's guitar work really shines here too.

Check these guys out, as they're one of my favorite things about semi-mainstream music in the 80s.
