eddie landsberg, who's roots are in soul jazz, rare groove, deep funk, claims to be semi retired, infact rarely performs these days,

'MANA' is a spanish band out of California that my friends from the valley in southern Texas turned me on to, They are very soul & funk orientated. Check them out!

Two good covers there goodfoot.
Madcon's Beggin' especially. I'm usually a big defender of original versions and pretty critical of covers, unless they stick to the script and respect the original artist, but I love Madcon's effort.

I keep hoping for someone to tackle Frankie's 'The Night' and do a top job with that one.
