They were (are) from New Orleans, and set off the great Neville careers. I saw George Porter Jr at Bonnaroo in 2008. It was a treat.

They are most famous for an instrumental- Cissy Strut

Yeah, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings are the real deal. Saw them in DC. That's what a soul band sounds like. And don't forget Tower of Power. Still together after 42 years.

thee attacks, on the move, ****ing brilliant mod band, with a touch of garage/soul/r&b/, they've been together for 2 years, big things expected from these boys, they are from the same land as the prince of denmark,(brian laudrup)..

love her great voice and a great label she's with Daptone, they've a podcast download site called daptone jukebox, worth the visit..
