They were (are) from New Orleans, and set off the great Neville careers. I saw George Porter Jr at Bonnaroo in 2008. It was a treat.

They are most famous for an instrumental- Cissy Strut

dc fontana, the contessa, very hip british mod funk/soul/physc/, this is their latest single, a real funky groover,

dc fontana, seven days is to long, a very nice slowed down version...

dc fontana, a little bit hurt, more great soul from this out standing outfit....

Yeah, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings are the real deal. Saw them in DC. That's what a soul band sounds like. And don't forget Tower of Power. Still together after 42 years.

thee attacks, on the move, ****ing brilliant mod band, with a touch of garage/soul/r&b/, they've been together for 2 years, big things expected from these boys, they are from the same land as the prince of denmark,(brian laudrup)..

thee attacks, please tell me baby/shake shake, more great garage/r&b, from the 4 piece danish out fit..
