Man, the GodFather of Soul was somethin' else, ya know?James Brown was/is one of the greatest funky legends!!!I'm a musician that loves to incorporate funk with many different styles such as metal, jazz, hard rock, blues, etc...Funk is just something that makes you kinda feel hip, energetic, loose, etc...Combining that with hardrock or metal truly brings a new feel to the style that can take it to so many levels!!! With bands like Rage Against The Machine and Red Hot Chili Peppers, you get both funk and metal involved which makes it nearly a whole different style to itself!!!By the way, I love to jam to Rage Against The Machine and Red Hot Chili Peppers...
...and I take on both of those bands quite often!!!Funk is what great, energetic music is all about, period!!!

according to me curtis represents the slimier range a little bit if I am allowed to draw it up in this manner. If about soul somebody speaks, according to me about James B. it is necessary to speak it.
