This post is just to point out that some of the artist from the Sixties could've made a living singing other types of music...Aretha-Jazz...Lou Rawls-Jazz...Marvin Gaye-Pop...Walter Jackson-MOR...Billy Stewart-Gospel...Percy Sledge-Gospel...Jackie Wilson-Opera...Betty Everett-Jazz.
