And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

Yes. Because gypsy **** is SO great. I downloaded some of it just to see if I missed something during the movie.......and no I didnt. Its repetitive and dull. Sorry, you lose.

speaking of Bowie, "The Wedding Singer" had some good tunes.

I second the Labyrinth. Its simply elegant. David Bowie is amazing. My favorite song off that soundtrack is either "Within You" or "As the World Falls Down". Wow.

(that "singles" soundtrack is great too by the way)

also, just remembered the "easy rider" soundtrack. i'm probably a bit too young to know that much about it, but as far as i know it was a fairly important soundtrack. "kyrie eleison" is one of my favourite tracks off that record.

Xanadu(Electric Light Orchestra!)

Beautiful Mind has wonderful instrumentals, as does Reqieum For a Dream.

For the best out of all the newer soundtracks I'd go with Queen of the Dead. Great industrial beats, its great and really different from the primarily instrumental Interview with the Vampire soundtrack.
