EDIT: Also, CanwllCorfe - Downloaded yours as well, and it's sounding pretty darn great. Very good stuff, and I only had the Antony and the Johnsons track previously - nice. |
Click Title Above For Download http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a67...hauntedmix.jpg Haunting Mix For October Track Listing: 1.) Atlas Sound - A Ghost Story 2.) Oysterhead - Little Faces 3.) The Velvet Underground - The Black Angel's Death Song 4.) Band Of Horses - Is There a Ghost? 5.) The Hush Sound - Lighthouse 6.) Neutral Milk Hotel - Ghost 7.) Placebo - Sleeping With Ghosts 8.) Of Montreal - Death Of a Shade Of a Hue 9.) Mance Lipscomb - Haunted House Blues 10.) Bob Dylan - House Carpenter This is just a little something I put together for the end of October. Some "ghostly" songs. There's dark, there's tragic, and there's more upbeat takes on the subject matter, but the mix remains haunted. Listen to it at your own risk - And Happy Halloween! Note: I apologize that the tracks aren't in order in the folder; I didn't really feel like I should go through all the time of re-tagging every single song involved, and I hope you all don't mind! |
Ahhh 'Little Faces' is a crazy song!

The Very Best Of Alexisonfire http://www.thrashhits.com/wp-content...isonfire_6.gif Alexisonfire are hands down my favorite homeland band. They formed in 2002 in St. Catherines, Ontario and have since developed a large, loyal fanbase. Musically, they've done a fair bit of exploring, and there is little resemblance between their self-titled debut album and their most recent full-length "Old Crows/Young Cardinals". Unfortunately, many people wrongfully associate them with the hair-swoop and skinny jeans mallcore trend that has plagued hard music for the past decade, but having a screamer and a singer with a pretty voice does not automatically categorize a band as such. As they put so well in the song "Get Fighted" (which I did not include in this compilation), "this shit is not about pants, and shit is not about shirts, and this shit is definitely not about hair". This compilation consists of what I believe are the ten best songs the band has released. I have tried to represent each album well and refrained from putting a bunch of similar-sounding songs on here.
