I spent hours earlier today knocking up a really pretentious blog post about innovative music (if you can guess what i've been reading hats off to you) with a mix. I'm not even sure if it makes any sense in the end.
So share the wealth innit.

note - play track 2 very loud on big speakers in a dark room.

You're So Swell.zip

04. Go Back - Public Image Ltd
05. Thither And Yon - Sun Ra
06. Annihilate This Week - Black Flag
07. City Too Hot - Lee Perry
08. Track 1 - Masahiko Satoh and the Soundbreakers
09. 49 Guitars And One Girl - Pere Ubu
10. Big Headed Woman - Speed, Glue & Shinki
11. Get Behind Me - Scott Walker

There's a load of bands i need to hear here, cheers!

EDIT: Listened to it and, no, half of it didn't make sense at all. There were some absolutey quality tracks, my two big faves were Howlin' Wolf (awesome blues) and The Misunderstood (weren't they the band managed by John Peel?) Speed Glue and Shinki and Pere Ubu were also brilliant and Scratch Perry is always good.
I mostly downloaded it for The Residents, and after listening to it i think i'm going to need to listen to a lot more of them to have any idea what they're like.
I thought the 15 min tracks dragged on a bit though, and i still massively despise Scott Walker
Apart from that it was great, thanks!

Odd compilation.. but still very good. Pimper's Paradise is easily one of Marley's best tracks, and that is defiantly one of Incubus's best.
