Both your posts are exactly what I wanted this thread to be.
The choices don't have to be obscure, just personal and with a short description of their appeal to the person making the list.
All that's missing is an upload so we can all have a listen.

1.Feiert das Kreuz - Oomph!

The song is German for 'Celebrate the Cross', it's very critical of organized religion, peticularly Christianity. Plus, it's pure bad-assness. It ends with the line "Nagelt die Vernunft in das Volk" which means "Nail the rationality into the people"

2.For Whom the Bell Tolls -Metallica

Lyrically it's a depiction of band of soldiers fighting ontop of some hill. It's sounds so cool though, this is the song that singly handedly made me interested in music.

3.Spiral - Godsmack

Even though I don't believe in reincarnation, the ltyrics are very beatiful. Awesome song.

4.Black and White - Static-X

Very ambigous meaning, but the vocals and electric sound is fantastic.

5.Forever Darkness - Darkseed

The sound is breathtaking, half metal half symphonic poetry

6.Foil - Oomph

This is one of those songs that starts out in a slow, meloncholy feel, but at a certain point towards the end, out of no where the song explodes into some crazy dramatic insanity.

7.One Good Reason - Celldweller

"You tell me I, shouldn't want to die, but can't give me, one good reason why"

This song has the coolest sounding vocals I think I've ever heard.

8. And Justice for All - Metallica

I don't even need to describe this one, just amazing.

9.Die Mother****er Die - Dope

The perfect song to vent to.

10. Primal Concrete Sledge - Pantera

Also the perfect song to vent to.

Best drumming ever on this track.
