Any movie that looks like it was remotely influenced by the Wes Anderson sort of quirky comedy will probably have Indy and older music from the 60s-70s in it. Sometimes an obscure track from a really popular artist.

Except, I think Once was my favorite from it.

here's another vote for lost in translation and wes anderson films. i found nick and norah's infinite playlist to actually have some pretty good stuff.

I watched The Worlds Greatest Dad the other day... Great Movie, found 2 sounds on it that were indie they wheren't on the offical soundtrack the official soundtrack was Bruce Hornsby....

But I found two great Indie tracks when watching it I had to look up... I been enjoying both tracks but the Deadly Syndrome has become one of favs.
