Default Best Movie SoundTrack.

One of my favorite soundtrack's, would be, from the movie: 'RoadHouse' - with, Patrick Swayze & Sam Elliot. The Jeff Healy Band, not only were the primary musical soundtrack artist. They also, played as actor's, in the film itself. The last song, of the movie has become one of my favorite, & signature covers to perform. 'When The Night Come's Falling' - song writer/Bob Dylan. Performed by, The Jeff Healy Band (a good, 3-pieace band). This guy play's the guitar in a way that resembles playing a piano on his lap. I believe he chords the guitar upside down, compared to, a right, or left handed guitarist. The feel of the frets, with versatility, speed, etc. must be an amazing relation to the guitar itself, as possibly, a good feel towards the fingerboard that Healy's style, may be a great way to approach, at playing the guitar. Just something to think about....I like any SoundTrack by 'Prince'. Hell...Any video, etc, Especially everything Prince produced , etc, 'Himself'. I reallly liked 'Prince with Sheena Easton'. Some of my favorite music period. Stuff ta funk, & party Too!

Across the Universe is absolutely great at this present time.

I don't disagree, but isn't it the movie versions of the song? I mean not that I didn't enjoy the movie, but I can't really say Bono lives up to role.

Most of mine have been mentioned....

Forrest Gump
O Brother Where Art Thou
Dazed & Confused
Gone in 60 Secs
Dukes of Hazard - movie was flakey but the soundtrack made up for it.
Dirty Dancing

And I have to say that there are not too many Disney movies that the soundtracks don't catch me. I own the Alladin Soundtrack as well as Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Tarzan, and Lion King soundtracks.

Ok and not really so much soundtracks but actually the whole plot of the movies but I am a musical nut too....

Grease
Sound of Music

Mmm not sure about move soundtracks seeing as I don't really watch many.
I liked
Good Will Hunting, obvious reasons.
Romeo and Juliet (The one with Radiohead)
and Shrek, cause of Eels.

Despite the promotion, you are right on the money. A great soundtrack.

Dirty Dancing was mentioned earlier by Country Girl? Shít girl, you have a lot to learn.
