Nope. I'll try and send it (L'Enfant Assassin Des Mouches) across. You'll notice striking similarities between this and melody nelson. Of course, this is all instrumental though.

MoonlitSunshine 02-15-2009 05:53 AM

mmm.. I've missed these compilations! Good work :D

Exuma ---- Either Terrible Lizard or Proggy man. (I've noticed them mention this before)

American Music Club ---- 4ZZZ?

Got me...But I have a second one on there.

lucifer_sam 02-15-2009 01:05 PM

Souls of Mischief, buddy. I'm calling it.

ProggyMan 02-15-2009 01:14 PM

Incorrect. :D

ProggyMan 02-16-2009 03:47 PM

C'mon, no interest people?

Janszoon 02-16-2009 03:54 PM

8. Relaxed Muscle - Sexualised
I'm guessing this one is Molecules.

9. The Thorns - Dragonfly
And this one is ProggyMan.

ProggyMan 02-16-2009 04:10 PM

Wrong again. ;)

Did the Exuma track catch anyone's fancy? If so could I interest any of you in the album it's on.

Demonoid 02-16-2009 04:37 PM

A few more guesses -

Relaxed Muscle - Bulldog

Ester Drang - loose lips sink ships?

It was too low key and non descript for me but don't let it bother you. it's only an opinion!

You can indeed. That is a terrific track. I have been reading up on Exuma and he sounds like he is very eclectic and at times hard to put into a genre. Right up my alley.

You got me again - you're pretty good at these.

Mojo 02-18-2009 12:30 PM

The Valley of The Giants track is the highlight for me. I'm really digging it. As for who contributed it, i dont know but I'm gonna guess at Lucifer_sam.

:thumb:

I really don't like Gospeed but that album was fecking stellar.

Mojo 02-18-2009 02:10 PM

Well I'll be checking it out for sure. I like me some post-rockish stuff but I can also tend to get a little bored with the genre attimes. A lot of the bands sound very similar and just dont seem to offer anything I havent heard before so usually I only now check out anything that stands out. That track did.

Dude is there any way I can hop on this as well?

Histoire de Melody Nelson is one of my favorite albums.

khfreek 02-18-2009 02:32 PM

I'm contributing a song for the next one right now :) Ought to be fun.

gotjuice 02-18-2009 05:31 PM

Great uploads by all involved. I'm really digging the AMC, Mogwai, Hotel Wrecking City Traders, and Souls of Mischief songs.

Piss Me Off 02-19-2009 03:57 AM

As far as new discoveries go (i already love Mogwai and Bong Ra) the best picks were Exuma and the Jimmy Chamberlain Complex. The rest of it didn't really catch me that much, although that Heads track was good in a bassy, dirty way.

Molecules 02-19-2009 04:06 AM

rah forgot this was on my desktop awaiting a listen, it's brilliant so far. Have they all been guessed then? :(

scrub that, copied and pasted Janszoon's list with Bulldog & L_Sam added, there's loads to go. I really don't think I know anybody well enough to be able to get one, except the members who are ridiculously tough to pin down

1. Jean Claude Vannier- L'enfant La Mouche Et Les Allumettes Demonoid
2. Exuma - Dambala ProggyMan
3. American Music Club - Miracle On 34th Street 4ZZZ
4. Ambulance LTD - Anecdote
5. Mogwai - Killing All The Flies Dac
6. Bong Ra - Catholic High School Girls In Trouble Jackhammer
7. Hotel Wrecking City Traders - Danlicker
8. Relaxed Muscle - Sexualised Bulldog
9. The Thorns - Dragonfly
10. Souls Of Mischief - '93 Till Infinity
11. The Heads - Couldn't Be It Doesn't Matter
12. Ester Drang - Come Back Alive
13. Jimmy Chamberlain Complex - Love Is Real RezZ
14. Valley Of The Giants - Waiting To Catch A Bullet Lucifer_Sam

really like the Ambulance LTD tune, I was thinking Ethan but it's a bit jaunty for him... adidasss maybe? i suck at this

Piss Me Off 02-19-2009 04:18 AM

Loose Lips?

Piss Me Off 02-19-2009 04:28 AM

Did you do a track? If so i'm guessing the Thorns?

Molecules 02-19-2009 04:33 AM

nope sorry! Mine will turn up eventually and it wont take much guessing lol

Molecules 02-19-2009 05:39 AM

my immediate guesses then -

Kirby for Souls of Mischief, if not him then dreadnaught

adidasss for Ambulance LTD

4ZZZ 02-19-2009 05:53 AM

Swim for Ambulance LTD?

NSW 02-19-2009 06:35 AM

Ambulance LTD sounds like a WWWP pick.

jackhammer 02-19-2009 06:42 AM

I can't find the pm for who supplied the Ambulance LTD track but I can say that neither Swim or adidasss contributed a track.

NSW 02-19-2009 06:50 AM

Ester Drang....proggyman???

Molecules 02-19-2009 06:56 AM

proggyman's done, here's the full list for this page. I am frankly stumped. All I know is that I'm really enjoying the offerings.

1. Jean Claude Vannier- L'enfant La Mouche Et Les Allumettes Demonoid
2. Exuma - Dambala ProggyMan
3. American Music Club - Miracle On 34th Street 4ZZZ
4. Ambulance LTD - Anecdote
5. Mogwai - Killing All The Flies Dac
6. Bong Ra - Catholic High School Girls In Trouble Jackhammer

8. Relaxed Muscle - Sexualised Bulldog
9. The Thorns - Dragonfly
10. Souls Of Mischief - '93 Till Infinity
11. The Heads - Couldn't Be It Doesn't Matter
12. Ester Drang - Come Back Alive
13. Jimmy Chamberlain Complex - Love Is Real RezZ
14. Valley Of The Giants - Waiting To Catch A Bullet Lucifer_Sam

NSW 02-19-2009 06:56 AM

I thought he contributed two tracks?

Molecules 02-19-2009 06:58 AM

oh... Then i stand corrected

was i right with souls of mischief being Kirby or dreadnaught?

Mojo 02-19-2009 07:00 AM

Yeah he did submit two, apparantly a few people did.

NSW 02-19-2009 07:00 AM

This is so much harder to figure out than the last one...I have no clue on the last few.

Molecules 02-19-2009 07:06 AM

Hotel City Wrecking Trader - CAPTAIN CAVEMAN?
