There's no better sight than seeing shelves bulge under the weight of a collection :D

holdyoualways 11-15-2007 07:39 AM

seriously, how the hell would you find anything otherwise?

jackhammer 11-15-2007 01:52 PM

Took this morning with my camera phone, the sky was covered in fog and the sun was trying it's best to burst through. I liked the contrast.

Some powerlines near where I live. They run through this small field sort of thing and its usually so quiet you can hear the electricity humming and not much else.

not a great photo, but i like it.

I tried to take this whilst shivering and it turned out really sweet.

hhmmm... I use a film camera to take pictures for my photo class. Wish I could post some of the pictures I've taken. I have one of lightning striking right above someone's house. Try doing that with a digital :)

I just loved this view from the park, with the buildings looking down on all those gorgeous trees.

I felt like I had to take a picture of this, seeing as how I'm from Houston and all. Except they pronounce it "House-ton" in NY, not "Hue-ston".

Wow...this one is absolutely gorgeous! It's always been a dream of mine to live in a secluded log cabin in a place like this.

mamanuthead 06-24-2008 09:31 AM

Thanks for the compliment on my photo NSW! I know what you mean, I live in Vegas and it's all desert and heat. I love to go camping and it sure wouldn't hurt my feelings to live the rest of my life somewhere there is water and beautiful green scenery!

Wait, where did you live in Houston? I lived in a Mexican ghetto in Houston for most of this year and got to know the city pretty well.

I like the picture of the fountain, as well, good choice to put it in black and white.

I live in Spring Branch, which is pretty much THE Mexican ghetto. We coulda been neighbors!

Ever heard of Mennigers?

HA...my parents live like 2 blocks away from it. That's in the "nice" part of Spring Branch.

Kevorkian Logic 06-24-2008 09:18 PM

yea...that's where I was, you can probably fill in the blanks on what that means about me.

But I can't believe that's the nice part, I remember sitting outside at night, chain smoking, and hearing siren after siren after siren, and around Menniger it was taco stand after pawn shop after taco stand.

But to be perfectly honest despite the ghettoness of the place, I would move back to Houston in a second, it was an awesome place to live. I bet you feel the same way.

Well, it's a big city. I guess like any big city you're going to hear sirens and what not, alot.
I really do love it here. There is so much to see and do. But if I move anywhere it'll be Alaska. The heat here is killin' me!
