Yep, it certainly is! Formed by all the glacier outwash. Very cold.

And thanks, NumberNine!

U all inspired me to look through my photo library and reminded me of all the places I've been lucky enough to go! for only being 16 I've been a lot of places. I'll sort through all the pics later and maybe post the best ones, but if any of them are any good its only because the places are beautiful, not any skill of mine. I had forgotten what a beautiful world we live in. Thanks guys for reminding me

Default Prevent Bloody Revolution! Patriots Arm Thyselves!

In this old school house near Camp 42 in the southeast corner of Kansas lived a very interesting man who was a political extremist and proud member the NRA. He always wore a pistol in plain sight in the top pocket of his overalls and kept his political whirlygig spinning in his front yard throughout his life.

Its a shame because he died about a year or so ago, and I would have loved to have gotten him and his pistol standing up on his porch in my picture.

Thats an immence picture, as you say the only thing that could top it would be the man himself on the porch. Nevertheless, amazingly cool.

Just some of my shots from flickr. All shot with either a Hasselblad 500C/M or Yashica D.

^I've just seen your self-portrait with, I'm guessing, your Hasselblad 500 C/M. What an impressive machine. Do you also develop the photos in the lab, cause I'm guessing with a 70 mm film, that can be an experience of its own.

Btw, about the photos above, that first one should be seen in a much bigger size, to appreciate the details that, from the little I see, are surely great. Plus loved that last one, truly hypnotizing.

Edit: I wonder if you also have some tilt and shift lenses.

Thank you! Actually, the self-portrait was shot on a Yashica D about a year ago. It was a $70 camera that I bought when I first got into film. Served me well! As for the photos I just posted, #1, #2, and #4 were also on the Yashica, and the third was on the Hasselblad. I just haven't gotten to take as many with it yet.

I have the film developed at a lab near my work. It's a pain to do yourself so I don't bother myself with it, but I did do some in class.

Here's a little bit larger version of the first one.

No lenses like that, actually. At the moment I only have the 500C/M and an 80mm lens (normal focal length for medium format) and a DSLR with a 55mm and a 35mm.

I loved the lab, I'd live there if the products weren't so damn expensive.

Just what I expected, it should be in a big size. If you look close enough at the center, the little blurry circles seem to be wiggling. cool.
