Metta is not even an NBA Deacon.

^ The MWP elbow incident against Harden was repugnant, his reaction after he was called out was even worse, if he would have just owned it instead of trying to rationalize it I'd feel a little differently.

Yeah, acting like it was an accident or something. I hate the guy. Of course I hate the Lakers.

Well yeah, that's how he handled it right then and there, but I'm really talking about the days that followed. Those slow-mo shots really defied any possible "accident" defense, so he had two options at that point. He could've owned it, openly and humbly admitted that he did a terrible thing, but instead he tried to spin it about being carried away by the moment, even saying (paraphrased) "Gee, those tapes make it look really bad, but..." I went from disapproving to disgusted at that point. |
There is never any real retaliation in the NBA but he would have deserved it. Of course people are too afraid of the psycho. Even Indians are afraid of bears and crazy people. Where is Charles Oakley when you need him?

That was the infamous drink throwing incident right? I think he ended up going after the wrong guy or something.

moss - oak was the man!!
i actually dont got a lot of beef with ron-ron goin into the stands. dude threw beer in his face. on top of nightly hearin opposin teams fans call you names, its enough to send a man over the edge. sad he hit the wrong guy tho. actually had the guy who threw the beer on espn awhile back and him and artest are freindly now. he was/is actually a huge alcoholic. BYNUM TRADED! -cavs trade bynum to bulls for deng!! cavs gets: deng (expiring contract) bulls get: bynum, kings future 1st rounder, blazers 2 2nd rounders in '15, and can basically swap 1st rounder with cavs if cavs dont make playoffs interesting...... thoughts? |
