That's my sport, If they were building an arena the NHL would just about certainly expand. I really don't like the NBA.
I would like to see Seattle get an NBA team, and then Kansas City. KC used to have a team as well before they moved, and with KU, K-State, and Wichita State doing well recently, plus Missouri, not to mention the original rules of basketball are being enshrined in Lawrence, I don't see why we can't get another crack at getting a team again.

With basketball being such a global sport, I think it would be beneficial for the league to expand to 32 teams if we could get Seattle and KC. There's certainly plenty of players to go around.

I won't speak for KC (ironically the Kings were the team we tried to steal last year) but I think Ballmer buying the Clippers is a very very bad sign for Seattle. He's a smart dude (obviously) and his paying 2B for the Clips says he doesn't believe a Seattle team is likely to happen ANYTIME soon. Seattle will be held up by Silver, as it was with Stern, as an example that THIS is what can happen if you don't toe the line with the NBA.

To be honest, if Hansen really wanted an NBA team he should court the NHL, get an arena built, and then Silver will figure out that he's losing money by not being in the #12 TV market.

Its by the grace of God Miami won last year with that miracle shot. Only once in a lifetime shot....... they are not winning this year rightfully so because I am tired of the NBA hyping their overrated behinds up

Realtalk if it were up to me you would have been banned from posting here as soon as the Heat went up by 40 ****ing points against the Pacers in the last game. A series you said they would (hilariously): 'definitely beat the Heat' in.

Indiana is also a disaster, just simply a disaster. In game 4 I believe, the Heat won without Andersen or Oden and simply had Rashard Lewis on Hibbert, and Indiana suddenly imploded offensively with George and West barely touching the ball with the Pacers trying to exploit that matchup with Hibbert-which of course is ALWAYS a disaster going to Hibbert as we saw the previous two playoff series.

Every trip down for the Pacers it was stop, stand around for a while, and then either:
  • throw the ball into Hibbert in the post, and Hibbert bungles the play as he usually does
  • the entry pass goes out of bounds because of utter incompetence
  • or the Heat deflect the entry pass and then the Pacers have 5 seconds left to shoot the ball.

It took LeBron James sitting on the bench with 5 fouls for the Pacers to actually win a second game. Paul George's 37 point game comes with an asterisk in that the game's best perimeter defender was not guarding him.

ROFL at this statement. You mean a game-tying shot??? There's been hundreds of those, half of them were made by Jordan and like a dozen have been made by LeBron. In that instance last year with Ray Allen, that's also not his first time Allen has won/tied/saved a game with a three. Where have you been?

I actually expect it to go 7. And I predict that San Antonio wins the first game. Lets party girl.

I never said that Indiana were going to win.

I said that they could beat the Heat in a game and THEY can.

I don't think Indiana is great either.... but neither is Miami

I didn't watch that series intricately but this is my opinion on the overall Eastern Conference..... they suck.

All the teams in the East suck. Miami's competition suck and they don't play good teams in the East. For the next 3-4 years Miami will go to the finals because of that reason. The West Conference have more competitive teams and harder teams to beat. If Ray Allen did not hit that miracle shot that was heard around the world last year the Spurs would have won and rightfully so. The Spurs are a much better team and Miama KNOWS. They know they lucked up and won that Championship last year. How you gonna lose a game 5 points up in .5 seconds???? The NBA rigged that. I truly believe that but the Spurs will win this year NO DOUBT!!!

You're right "lucky shots" happen all the time

However,

Please do not compare Lebron James to Michael Legendary Jordan.

MJ never went to a game 7 in the finals and he always won in game 4's, 5's or 6's in the Finals. Jordan has a crap load of shooting titles (6 or 7 I believe) and (Lebron has 0) and Chicago always scored over 100 points a game, Miami only scores around the 90 range. Miami is not a shooting team and they don't win by 20 points every game like 90's Chicago. Lebron doesn't score 40 points every game like Jordan.

On the other hand, the Spurs ARE a shooting team and they score over 100 points 95% of their games. They have a bench that is DEEP. Miami relies heavily on James, Wade and Bosh to score for most of their points.

The Spurs had to play against a possesed electric Wesbrooke and a future Hall of Famer Durant to get to the Fianls. Miami is NO where on that level lol

And you know what else?

Miami did not have to play a really hard team to get to the Finals.

90's Chicago did not win multiple Championships with "lucky shots" Miami is not Chicago and Lebron is DEFINITLY not Jordan.

Period

Realtalk you seriously should watch more basketball before you actually comment on it. Your opinion means nothing if based off nothing.
