I stand my my point that Kobe Bryant is the most overrated player in the league. There are so many other great players out there who make their teammates better to give this guy any credit for wanting to shoot every time down the floor.

p.s. The Lakers would be pretty damn solid w/o Kobe Bryant. They would still have Gasol, Odom, Bynum, Fisher, and Walton, whatever that foreign guy with the girl haircut's name is and Phil Jackson as a coach. Kobe is just really good at providing the illusion that he is the team. In reality, he's a taller and perhaps slightly more egotistical Allen Iverson, and nothing more.

Criticisms like this are so ridiculous, Kobe is one of the top defenders in the NBA, that alone separates him from someone like A.I. Look at his assist numbers, watch some Laker games, the past few years he's looked for his shot out of need, now he defers to his teammates.

Are you honestly trying to use that to support your point?

Anderson is even more like the underrated BAMF these playoffs that he is.

MVP arguement over?

Well certainly you are entitiled to your opinion and I my own. While I will agree that Kobe plays good D sometimes I wouldn't call him top in the league. I have looked at his numbers, I watch more Lakers games than I would care to (as they are broadcast locally here), and he still jacks it up under a triple team with much too often when you have Gasol and Odom down low.

Valid arguement as to the quality of his character which is equally important off of the court as it is on.

I'm sorry but what are you talking about?

How is it valid if there's no proof as to whether or not it's true? If anything he just slept with some girl, which every player in any professional sport has done.

That's also a valid point. I was just saying I can see where dac was coming from when he said that.

I guess I can understand, I just find it a little ridiculous when there's no real proof.

Yup, I completely understand that point. Kobe is a terrible human being, and thus a terrible basketball player. I'd like to add that Michael Jordan shouldn't have been allowed in the Hall of Fame - he cheated on his wife and had a gambling addiction.

So you use this logic for basketball players but not for musicians?
