Kobe was pissed. Boston better win tomorrow.
I wonder why it costs so much to live here? hmmmm Is Missouri part of America's 'ass crack'? It would be cool to live in an ex slave state, and a socialist commune at the same time!!!! u lucky

Miltamec Soundsquinaez 06-07-2008 01:04 PM

I hate every state in the whole damn country, if you want to keep this going. I would however prefer to live where it's cheaper.
Back on topic, I'll take Boston 95-92

bsmix 06-07-2008 02:13 PM

yeah agree but I have to say lakers 102-95

Sparky 06-09-2008 06:45 AM

thats 2 :D

ProggyMan 06-09-2008 09:21 AM

Dang, it's not like they've blown the Big Ls away, but still...It's not like they'll win on the road.

Sparky 06-09-2008 03:24 PM

if it comes to 7 would it be in LA or boston?

Richiban 06-09-2008 03:27 PM

Boston.

The next three games are in L.A.

ProggyMan 06-09-2008 04:56 PM

Over in 7 I say, with La winning.

NoseClams 06-10-2008 11:47 AM

only 3 teams have came back in the finals being down 2 games, and the lakers were one of them, and they were playing the celtics at the time. but its not gonna happen this year! plus the refs are wearing green, if ya catch my drift.

bsmix 06-10-2008 04:27 PM

yeah man kobe whines alot but he's not getting any calls.
If the lakers win tonight the series will look alot nicer. Boston has won only 2/9 away games in the playoffs. Stop Boston's momentum and get some of their own for two more home games, would look pretty good. Gotta win tonight tho

NoseClams 06-12-2008 09:57 PM

Boom!!! Celts Just Took Game 4!!!

bsmix 06-12-2008 09:59 PM

that was awful. I almost fell asleep during the first half. Lakers quit. horrible

Sparky 06-15-2008 12:10 PM

I say boston at game 6.

I know lakers will win tonight.

But once it's back in boston, celtics got it for sure.

i agree 100%, if boston lets this go to game 7, i think lakers will take it.

Sparky 06-16-2008 06:28 PM

but game 7 would also be in boston.

anybody else been totally underwhelmed by kobe so far?

When Pau Gasol is your top earner your doing something wrong.

ProggyMan 06-16-2008 07:24 PM

I'd be pretty happy with Gasol. But whatever. I think what he's saying is if Boston lets it go to 7 then they won't be playing well enough to win.

Sparky 06-17-2008 10:01 PM

lol lakers suck :P

bsmix 06-17-2008 10:05 PM

Yea there was so much wrong with the lakers....but I'll be an excuse maker and mention that you prob haven't heard our starting center's name in a few months. Boston deserves this year and prob have deserved it since the beginning. They were definitely the better team this series and showed they wanted it. =(((((

Nah, they just played like ****. No way would the Celtics win like that if they played like they did against San Antonio. The series would go to 7 at least. Also can you imagine Bynum getting held to 0 offensive boards? The Lakers are set for a dynasty anyway, no worries.

pshaw, ill take it.

Don't tell me your not giving any credit to boston.

ProggyMan 06-18-2008 09:11 AM

Hell no, they were incredible, they would have won anyway.

NoseClams 06-20-2008 02:19 PM

i am sooo happy!

Laces Out Dan! 06-20-2008 02:25 PM

An average sports fan living in Boston will have celebrated 6 Championships in the last 7 years. Fuck Boston.

You don't know how much I agree with that statement. I hope the whole city gets Aids.

Sparky 06-25-2008 07:17 PM

may i ask why?

Lakers werent making shots, boston was. :-/

Miltamec Soundsquinaez 07-08-2008 08:06 PM

B Davis goes to the Clippers.
He's the kind of guy who looks real sexy on paper, and will put fans in the seats, but he's not going to help that franchise. He's a total Vince Carter-playground style guy. Great to watch, not so great for standings,
and I would think they're decent except that Philadelphia is clearing cap room to make an offer to Elton Brand, who would really make the Sixers an elite team..... in the East that is.

I haven't heard any other trade news. Lakers will win it all next year, if they stay healthy. I knew that Boston would win because they're great, AND.......AND because the league wanted them to win. Next year a Lakers-Celtics series would mean nothing if the Lakers had won it this year. It would just mean that much more of a blowout for next year.

ProggyMan 07-08-2008 08:44 PM

Davis isn't even flashy. He's a great team leader, great passer, good defender, ballhandler, decent shooter, great driver and finisher. His only weakness is the tendency to take too many outside shots, which is more the team he played for than than himself.

bsmix 07-08-2008 10:36 PM

I'm so psyched BD is goin to clips. I dunno, thinkin about it...it's what they need if Kaman can do what he did in the beginning of last season. I feel so bad for Livingston I hope he comes back with a vengeance too.
I'm waiting to see what the Lakes do. I think they should move Vlad Radmonavic. and Odom's salary is so huge, but i dunno.

ProggyMan 07-08-2008 11:00 PM

C'mon, Odom, Bynum and Gasol?

bsmix 07-08-2008 11:16 PM

I know that's a dream. hefty payroll tho. I guess it could go for another year, but I want to keep Bynum forever.

ProggyMan 12-03-2008 08:57 PM

Wow, great season so far. I have to say D-Wade's been the best player so far. 2.3 steals and 1.7 blocks? He's also a good rebounder and an absolute lockdown defender, unlike a certain someone from the same draft class who manages to garner a reputation as one of the best all around players in the league despite his mediocre defense. Not that James isn't a great player, consistently one of the top 3 in the league. The Lakers will only get better as teams with less depth tire and Bynum continues to adjust. Derrick Rose looks like the number 1 overall pick, in fact this entire draft class looks great. One final though, Spencer Hawes looks just as good as Greg Oden, sure he's not the rebounder, post defender or shot blocker and intimidator Oden is, but he's a much better passer and shows a nice touch from outside.

Laces Out Dan! 12-03-2008 10:07 PM

I agree with you that Wade is coming out as one of the best players so far this season but we all knew he could be that as long as he stayed healthy. But LeBron is averaging 2 steals and a block a game, to tag on 27.8 ppg. And lets be honest we both know LeBron is the far superior shot blocker of the two. I say he deserves every last ounce of praise he gets. I, Also agree with you about Derrick Rose, has this kid come out clutch so far or what.

ProggyMan 12-03-2008 10:14 PM

Lebron's a better shot blocker but very few play the passing lanes better than Wade and when it comes to on-ball defense James is a joke. Wade is a better passer too, he would dish 10 assists a game if he had to play point(Like Lebron, Williams is a joke) (Miami's gotten solid play from Chalmers and a several unknown bench players), but mainly because of the complete lack of reliable outside shooters (The only pure shooter he's every played with is Kapono). Hopefully the Heat go for a defensively solid sharp shooter in the draft or try to pick up someone like James Posey.

Im gonna have to strongly disagree with you in regards to Lebron being a garbage on-ball defender, he is faster, stronger, and wants the ball more than about 90% of the people he checks, He can guard a from the 2spot t the 4spot. But I dont wanna argue, I know Wade is amazing player and has one of my favourite agressive styles of play in all of basketball. Young athletic players should strive to be like him. The do whatever it takes effort to get to that rim. How many times do you see him getting blocked, very rarely. He goes right into the big men and takes that length away from them.

dac 12-03-2008 11:25 PM

You really think Wade is a Better passer than LeBron? You need to sit down and watch a Cavs game son.

Yeh, watch a Heat game. Wade dishes more assists despite having no outside shooters and playing point less.

Good point, he's more versatile defensively than Wade because of his size, but I don't mean that he's complete garbage (Plays his heart out, incredibly athletic, how could he be), he just lacks the killer instinct Wade and the likes of Bowen have defensively. James is just average, Wade is phenomenal.

dac 12-03-2008 11:41 PM

Wade may be a better on ball defender, though not by much, but he doesn't play on a defensively good team. Mike Brown coaches an EXCELLENT defense that allows LeBron to take the risks for steals that he does. Also keep in mind that LeBrons minutes this year are WAY down due to the Cavs blowing everybody out... I believe it's 7 games in a row of 10+ point victories at the moment.

ProggyMan 12-04-2008 12:03 AM

Seriously, look at the game tape, Wade is one of the top defensive players in the league, Lebron is just alright. The Heat are very good defensively I might add, it's their offense that makes them mediocre.

dac 12-04-2008 07:28 AM

If I had to pick one of them to be on my team I'd take LeBron without hesitation.

ProggyMan 12-04-2008 08:58 PM

I'd take Wade. NOt much of an argument now is it?
