Yeah, Boston gave themselves a shot with 24 seconds left. They're too good to just fold up...

Well, that's exactly what they've done the last two games. And it should come as no surprise as it's the same story every year for Boston. They have no drive until their backs are against the wall. Their record in games where they can close the series out is abysmal, yet, at the same time, their record in games where they can stave off elimination is incredible. All of that balances out in a game 7, where the Bruins are kind of hit and miss, as one might expect.

So frustrating being a fan of this team, where every single series is a battle even if it doesn't need to be. This series has been a battle against themselves more than anything. All due respect to Toronto, who have played well in their own right, but the Bruins have had a very rough series outside of Rask and the Krejci line and just look terrible out there. No one else is playing close to their potential, yet here they sit at another game 7. Not sure what to expect tonight.

i don't watch or care about hockey... but my fb newsfeed is the most entertaining thing i've seen in a while. also, hockey fan are REALLY mean to each other.

I can't believe Toronto tonight...I needed them to win tonight. My buddy who's ahead of me in my pool has Krecji, and he's killing me.

Insanity. This series may have been more nerve-racking that that collapse to Philly in 2010.

As much as they blow leads and look like crap sometimes, no one mounts comebacks like the Bruins do. When this team is on, they're on and are very difficult to stop. Bergeron has always been my favourite player, and he proved himself as a clutch player once again tonight. Lucic was also unbelievably key in that comeback.

Not sure what to expect against the Rangers. I know it's going 7, but it might be too much for the Bruins to take on a really solid team with their injuries on the back-end. Seidenberg is an absolute horse who can be relied on even more than Chara in my opinion, and losing him over the course of a 7 game series would be a huge loss. Ference was apparently in a walking boot, so that doesn't look promising. Not sure what's going on with Redden either. Either way, we're going to be icing a brutal d-unit. As good as Bartkowski looked tonight, he still made some mistakes, and the Rangers are very good at forcing turnovers, which he really has to watch out for. Hamilton was BRUTAL tonight too, but was great in the regular season. It's a good thing they start Thursday and game 2 is on Wednesday, because Chara could use a day or two off.

I know Staal is dealing with injury issues for the Rangers, but they have such a deep blueline that I think they could overcome that.

Most interesting match-up will be Stepan vs. whatever Bruins line they send him out against. I'm guessing the Rangers will want to match him up against the Krejci line, but he's going to get eaten alive on faceoffs no matter who he goes up against, and that's not a good thing for your number 1 center. I think you'll see a lot of Boyle on defensive zone faceoffs this series.

Right now it looks like Kings vs Blackhawks in the west. Yes, it's only 1-0 in both series but I just don't see Detroit being able to score enough on Crawford to win more than maybe a couple games in the series. And Quick of late is starting to look like he did in the '12 playoffs.

I'll give San Jose one more game before I start throwing the towel in. The B-HAWKS look like a wrecking ball right now. Sharp carrying the load with three other superstars to boot, thats a hell of a team.
