Canuck win tonight already gives us 3 extra days of rest. Would love to see Chicago take the next game in a long, bloody, tiring battle. Maybe a grueling 4 OT thriller where Toews gets cut in half?

Talk about a total lack of class from Boston in this game, which has now finally come to a climax late in the third. Ever since they were down 2-0 in the 2nd, they've been playing downright dirty hockey, slashing and tripping and cross checking and just trying to hurt players. Flyers have been getting shaken up left and right, including Boucher going out in the 1st (though nobody was responsible for that). 2 Bruins decided they were going to check Mike Richards in the face, then begin beating the shi‎t out of him until teammates skated over. Fans actually threw stuff on the ice late in the 2nd when a scrum occurred near the Bruins net.

You're up 3-1 in this series and you're losing at home. You're on a team with plenty of veterans and you've had a great playoffs so far. You play for an Original Six franchise. You're losing 4-0. It's been a frustrating game...but have some fu‎cking class. You're a historic franchise celebrating a Stanley Cup winning goal by your greatest player in your history that happened EXACTLY 40 years ago today, and you're going to play like this? It's like the Charlestown Chiefs without the humour.

I have some affection for the O6 franchises, given their great histories and everything that goes along (including some great jerseys), but no love anymore for Boston. My feelings of this team has progressed from "I don't want them to win when they play my team" to "This is a group of players who have no discipline, class, or idea of how to handle themselves in a tough spot."

Fu‎ck the Bruins. Up until now this has been a (mostly) tremendous series for BOTH sides, including some truly classic games. And it has now been completely ruined by a total disregard for any sort of etiquette.

Fu‎ck Savard, fu‎ck Recchi, fu‎ck Chara. What a disgraceful showing. I'd be embarrassed if I was a Bruins fan not because of their performances but because of the way they acted.

Agreed. Sorry Nucks fans.

All eyes on Luongo again? His LA series was a little up and down, but then he did poor to stop those 'Hawks for the second year in a row. I don't know if he was pulled at all during this game, so it's an estimate (assuming he played full 60), but 3.52 GAA in the series with an .897 SV%. D has been banged up, but that doesn't cut it.

Be curious to hear what you thought of the series. Underperformers, etc.

I just get the feeling that Luo has developed the same sort of Nabokov aura about him- one that I'm all too familiar with. Great regular season, a gamer who can eat 70+ starts in a great regular season... Then either falters or is outplayed in the postseason.

It was gonna be a tough run through the playoffs this year with some pretty legit player injuries. Of course the anchor of our Blue Line, Willie Mitchel was not playing...Bieksa, was coming back after missing months, Salo ruptured his testicle last game, Edler was injured this game. I made an assumption that from the beginning of these playoffs, Kes was injured. He hadnt played his game, he wasnt finishing checks, he wasnt going as hard to the corners, and its now known he was playing with a shoulder injury that I assume was pretty legit. I do believe Lou was underwhelming these playoffs. His consistancy wasnt there, and I dont know if his confidence was either. Another huge blow to the team was missing Ryan Johnson...the bravest/best shot blocker on the team who was only back for the last few games, and who knows how injured he still was. We'll see how next year pans out...and I dont know who to cheer for now..Boston maybe? Montreal?

Montreal, I mean they were the last Canadian team to win the Stanley Cup back in like... '93 if I'm not mistaken.

I know injuries are never really an excuse, because everyone is banged up at this point, but I know they definitely took a toll on your team. The last time I saw a LOT of Kesler was the Olympics, and he looked like a different man back then compared to the Kesler who showed up this round. Overall I still think the majority of blame is going to fall on the goalie when you give up 4 goals a game- especially a guy like Luongo, because his track record doesn't blow you away and he's making bank.

As for who to root for, I see only two acceptable teams. Montreal and San Ho. Montreal being an 8 seed, about to knock of Cindy, and they're Canadian- that makes sense. The Sharks can get some vengeance and kill off the Blackhawks, and, hey, we're pretty awesome to boot
