The Draft day went alright for the Nucks. Picked up 3 Dmen, a Center and a goalie as well as Keith Ballard which is gonna be a good addition to our defence.

A good buddy of mine was also drafted that night by the Rangers. So happy to see that, hopefully see him rough up some guys pretty soon here on TV. He led the WHL last season for Fighting majors.

Awesome man. I figured the Sabs would take a Forward in the first, but got a couple Dmen as well. In the later rounds, they took a deaf enforcer. I can't wait to see how that pans out.

Pavelski and Marleau signed 4-year deals before entering free agency.

Nabokov was informed that the team would not re-sign him.

Forgot to mention Myers took home the Calder, and Miller got the Vezina!

I was real happy to see Myers take the Calder. I remember watching him in the World Juniors and knowin he was gonna be great in the NHL. Real big physical D man with great hands and can skate real well. Also, Hank wins the Art Ross and Hart this year. Pretty good year for the sister.

Willie is on his departure to the sunshine state. I honestly dont think he'll ever be the same player...at this time in his career after a blow like that which took him out for that period of time...Unfortunately I think his rope is outta slack.

Yeah man Im pumped, the Sabres play the 25th, and the season begins in only a couple weeks.

I was thinking of trying out an NHL draft this year, but Im unfamiliar with it completely.

I just bought tickets to see the Sabres in San Jose in January. Love being able to see a random Eastern Conference opponent, but, more importantly, love the opportunity to see the Sharks try to crack Miller Time. Might try to see your Canucks too- should be a good matchup against the team that appears to be the class of the West on paper.
