I was at the game last night. We're back to beating the same old drum- Thornton and Marleau as goats. The former for his Academy Award nominated dive that symbolized the eventual flop in the game, and the latter for disappearing this series (except when he turned the puck over to Pavel, then stumbled along like a drunk hobo trying to recover before Datsyuk dished Lidstrom for the game winning shot). I don't think JR's assessment of Marleau's performance as "gutless" is that far from the truth- most Sharks fans would agree. Looks like this series is going 7, as most expected from the start.... and we're down to a do-or-die game 7 that can go either way.

I thought that game was sealed with Couture's beauty makin it 3-1. I was wrong haha. Even with a 50% healthy Datsyuk, the man is still a beast haha. I really do hate Detroit though because I have a buddy who is a die hard Wings fan. So I need them out for that exact reason.

I think Vancouver is the only Canadian team in the playoffs now. I might watch the series, but the time difference sucks. If a game starts at 7 PM there, it's already 10 PM in Toronto. So I may just be relying on highlights

I am happy Vancouver made it into round 3

Now I hope Detroit wins their series. Not cause I care about the team, i just think San Jose would be more of a challenge to Vancouver than Detroit. Both will present a challenge for them, but I think Detroit would be the lesser of two evils here.

I disagree, playoff hockey is all about state of mind and momentum. I'd rather not face the team team that swept the first round, then came back from 3-0 to win.

Dear Jeff- thanks for the luck, we needed it to gut out that game 7 to finish off an epic series. Now onto Vancouver where the most scary player in the series is not a Sedin, it's Kesler. PS, sorry about the trade. Sincerely, Me.

Its gonna be a good series Pourmeanother. Thornton seems to be up for the challenge of going head to head with Kes in a shutdown role. It'll be interesting to see how this one pans out. Vancouver in 6
