Like I said, I dont really think that we'll have him by the trade deadline. But hes a free agent after this season and he has come out and expressed his interest in playing for Vancouver many times now. Id say its a fairly good chance that we'll have him in a Nucks jersey by next season.

Love Hockey, Love the Canucks, wish they had done something at the deadline, but still think that they have a real good shot at winning something if they keep the intensity up.

Yeah, the Nucks are on fire now. What are they, like 8-1-1 in the L10? I haven't paid much attention to what's happening in the West, too much drama in the East. It looks like the Panthers have turned their season around and they'll be in the playoff picture, and the addition of Antropov to NYR's lineup should mitigate the recent troubles they've had.

But the big news (for me, anyways) is the Penguins are finally back in playoff contention. Got a big game tomorrow against the Caps, haven't taken them yet this year and it looks like it'll be a difficult game.

I think after that Jokinen trade the Flames are primed to get back to the Conference Finals. Improved scoring on a team that already has a lot of pieces in place. Of course, it's all about who gets hot, when... but this Sharks fan thinks it's looking like a Detroit/Flames CFinals

I think I remember hearing on CBC last night that in Lulongo last 13 starts the Canucks are 12-1, it's 13-1 after last night now

Im actually really glad they didnt do anything. I wouldnt have minded seeing maybe Ohlund go, but they're hot right now. The Chemistry on the first and second line is great. When they signed Burr to the 4 year contract, that made he happier then anything they could have done realisticly trade wise.

College hockey is pretty shit man. Too many americans. The Majority of all the great young players come here to play hockey. The OHL, WHL, or the Quebec Major Junior League.

Big win tonight to bring us within 3 points of Calgary and their "Unsermountable" lead they had just weeks ago. One of the funnest games to watch all year. All the thing I hoped would happen after playing Dallas last week, happened in this game. Burr shed the mits with Ott. Bieksa had a big hit on Ott, and Hordichuk took a run at Turco.
