He's far from a bad player. I like Cutler a lot actually. That's just WAY too much money compared to his value.

He's a franchise QB, and I guess teams are starting to realize the value of having one of those, and that's probably why Baltimore overpaid for Flacco as well.
Joe Flacco should be ashamed by the money he received.

He should be proud of himself for being able to win the Super Bowl when QBs are starting to get absurd amounts of money, everyone's all hung up on QBs who can win the Super Bowl, and when he's about to get a bunch of money. Didn't he turn down an extension the offseason before that?

Also, he's younger, probably just as good as Cutler, much more durable historically, and has had a lot of postseason success. Also, Flacco's deal is for a year less. IMO, that's the better contract.

It may be that I just think getting paid 120 million dollars is just too crazy because you can sling a ball around really well.

I kinda agree, in the sense that these athletes make more in a day (in many cases a lot more) than most of us will see in a year or maybe a lifetime, but the other side of the coin is that their salaries are not disproportionate to stars in other fields of entertainment, including music.

Definitely, but those guys are making a lot of money for their owners. It's a talent, just like making music or movies.

Colts were down 38-10, win 45-44. Ridiculous.

Great game, too bad the Bills could never win the title. I almost feel bad for them, except for I'm a Vikings fan.

Seahawks really sitting pretty with that HFA. Only teams I could really see beating them are Carolina and San Fran, but never underestimate a QB like Brees or Rodgers.
