played a usual kaep type of game, was most dangerous with his legs, smartly used them as they are his best weapon

made a few nice throws, didnt look great as a passer, threw that terrible pass towards the end that couldve'shouldve been picked to win the game for green bay. doesnt read progressions but like i said is most dangerous with his legs

overall just about exactly what youd expect

also what a playoffs so far!!!!!! amazing games, god i love playoffs!!!!! i feel bad for the chiefs.

also cutlers deal..... everyone remember its not guaranteed, he will prob be cut before he reaches that 7th yr. teams are pretty much handcuffed to pay qbs whatever they want. but bears backup was great, shows how little cutler means to them imo. tired of the non stop hype on cutler yr after yr... dude isnt that great

This, frankly, is unacceptable.

Also, 54M is guaranteed (from what I've heard). And how does paying him over 100M over the next 7 years show how little Cutler means to them LOL.

yeah 216, 54mil guaranteed, i do however think his ass is out of here in 1-2 years. terrible decision maker but i think they want to see what he's got for one more year before they cut ties. i have always been a cutty hater but finding someone to replace him isn't gonna be a walk in the park. yes our backup was middling-to-good when he started but no one, including mccown, thinks that this team is good enough to win with a journeyman qb.

id say hes gone after year 5, they wont pay him all of that $$$. the last couple yrs dont even matter as far as money cause he will never see it. he will get the guaranteed but thats the goin rate for a 'franchise qb'. i just dont think chicago needed to break the bank for the guy, hes never been a winner, hes always been the same guy who never improved

also i wasnt sayin the contract shows what little he means to THEM. but from a viewpoint of someone who isnt writin the checks, my point is they are over estimatin how much he means to them. they have the first or 2nd duo of receivers and one of the best rbs in the league and aside from this yr, usualy a stellar defense. and cutler still makes the same mistakes year after year after year. they would been smarter goin out to trade for a kirk cousins or somethin and savin 100 MILLION imo. i dont think he is crucial to their success

Cutler is a franchise QB, and it is tough to find those. Like I said, teams are going to overpay for his type now, I could see someone like Dalton getting a huge deal when it's time, and if he wins a Super Bowl like Flacco, he can pretty much command any deal he wants.

Good QBs are hard to find, since so many come in and stink it up.
