Crabtree was being a dick to him after the play when he offered out his hand and said good game.

Don't be blind. He wasn't doing that because he's a good sport. He did it to rub it in. Crabtree knew it. Everybody knew it. He already made the play, which was a fantastic one at that. There's no need to rub it in. Go celebrate with your teamates and quit being a douche.

You just linked me to a page that has Richard Sherman talking about what he did and you think that is making a counter point? I saw what happened. Sherman was boasting in Crabtree's face. He wasn't trying to give him a handshake like he's Isaac f*cking Bruce.

I heard Crabtree was talking crap and provoking him at some event in the offseason, and that was the end result of it. I very much doubt he was being genuine with the handshake.

I ran over to Crabtree to shake his hand but he ignored me. I patted him, stuck out my hand and said, “Good game, good game.” That’s when he shoved my face, and that’s when I went off. I threw a choking sign at 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Why? Because he decided he was going to try the guy he was avoiding all game, because, I don’t know, he’s probably not paying attention for the game-winning play. C’mon, you’re better than that. Erin Andrews interviewed me after the game and I yelled what was obvious: If you put a subpar player across from a great one, most of the time you’re going to get one result….A lot of what I said to Andrews was adrenaline talking, and some of that was Crabtree. I just don’t like him…To those who would call me a thug or worse because I show passion on a football field—don’t judge a person’s character by what they do between the lines. Judge a man by what he does off the field, what he does for his community, what he does for his family. But people find it easy to take shots on Twitter, and to use racial slurs and bullying language far worse than what you’ll see from me. It’s sad and somewhat unbelievable to me that the world is still this way, but it is. I can handle it.
This makes sense and is counter argument enough. I know you are blinded with rage but it's good enough for me.

May the team with less dickheads win. I'm guessing it will be a tie.

-does tons of charity work in and around Seattle
-He made one of the greatest defensive plays you'll ever see to send his team to the Super Bowl. If he had faltered, Seattle would have lost because Crabtree is pretty damn sure-handed and that throw was pretty damn good

After making a play like that against a team you HATE that was surely talking trash the entire game? Yeah, Sherman definitely deserves the right to be HYPE after that game. I loved it.

All of those could be true AND he could still be selfish and out-of-line. They are not mutually exclusive.

I like Sherman too, overall, but I don't like what he did at that time. It should have been about the tean at that time and he made it about himself.
