I did see that mouthpiece go flying. Had no idea what it was though.

Factoid: Chauncey Gardiner is a character played by Peter Sellers in the movie "Being There".

Anyone watching this Packers-49ers game? Mullens is terrible - just no other way to say it. Just why SF isn't running the ball more against a team that one of the worst against the run is a mystery to me. Mullens can't be trusted to throw against these Packers. It's good to see McKinnon back but why not utilize Juszczyk more?? Gotta see more of him after the half or this may be a complete laugher. 21-3, Pack.

last I looked it was 34-3 Packers, not a competitive game.

34-17, Pack.
The 13 49ers on IR couldn’t have helped.

I follow the team religiously. Basically, the injuries suffered this season is probably top 3 worst of all time and I can't even think of another team during another season that could have been worse. The fact that we have four wins is incredible to be honest. You just CAN'T compete against intact NFL teams with more than 50% of your intended starters not playing.

As for Mullens, his play this year has been awful. They need to play Beathard next week. It's not an excuse, but the offensive line has been terrible this year. Every game save for the New England game has been torture on whoever is throwing back there. Pressure upon pressure. Mullens is an undrafted free agent and has only played in 14 games and has 3500 yards and 18 TD passes. I mean, that's overachieving for his talent level. Still, he's playing terrible football.

As for running the ball? Tired Jet and undrafted Hasty behind a sh*t line and no Kittle isn't going to gain much.

Yeah, No line to speak of. But seriously, why aren't they using Juszczyk more? He was targeted once the whole night - and that was a 4 yard reception. I don't get it. Dude is obviously talented. And if they can't run on the Pack, a team giving up among the most yardage to RBs across the league, what's their strategy going forward?

Not sure why the juice wasn't used more. Going forward? I guess just trying to survive. Roster evaluation for next year? I dunno.
