I'm so torn between a possible Packer/Vikings playoff game, that would be so sick. Favre still has some magic in his game.

Tony Romo isn't a reason to count the Cowboys out.

QB rating: 97.6
Comp: 347
Att: 550
Yards: 4483
TD: 26
Int: 9

The last two INT's he's gotten weren't his fault, either.

Yeah I agree. Romo takes a lot of heat just because the cowboys are an easy team to hate.

And there is no way the Jets are going to win the superbowl. That might just be wishful thinking.

Sorry man, but the results of The Ravens and The Patriots isn't foregone conclusion. I foresee a thriller there.

Also I'm hoping that the Patriots win at least one more Superbowl, a book-end on the dynasty, but the realist in me keeps telling the fan in me that it probably won't happen.

I say they win one not this year, but sometime in the next 5.

Call it blind homer-ism, or call it what you will... but don't count out a shutdown defense in the post-season. Sometimes a quarterback can be irrelevant. There's no doubt who's the better QB, but-- Super Bowl wins:

Dan Marino = 0
Trent Dilfer = 1

Brad Johnson and Rex Grossman have made Super Bowls this decade, as well as Dilfer. All played for teams with great defenses. With Sanchez, less is more- he just needs to manage the ball, make a few timely completions, and avoid following his target (most of the picks he throws).

And yes, I'm a blind homer just trying to enjoy my predictions. Five of six- peaking at the right time....

History says otherwise.

An essential truth of the playoffs. Ask the 01 Rams, or in an ironic twist, the 07 Patriots.
