Not a big Blitz fan, but I like the crew as a whole on ESPN with Keyshawn Ditka and Cris Carter. I like them a lot more than the other few analyst crews out there.

berman/jackson are ok on the preview shows(so are ditka/key/carter) but for play by play on highlights, terrible.

and dear espn:

can you please show me more highlights and less BS analysis. i hate seeing the "highlights" of a game that consists of 2-5 plays.

Atlanta is 8-2 and I hardly ever see their highlights. Maybe like 2 plays after two hours of talking about the vikings and cowboys every single week.

Nice, I just got arrested last night by a fellow Bills fan in FL after that huge comeback victory. That is outrageous we gotta be sticking together.

join the rest of the world on that... i hate seeing really good teams not get the attention they deserve. I though after the big win over Baltimore last thursday, espn would start buzzing about the falcons. Nope, not at all. I don't ever hear a damn thing about them or see any of their highlights because all anyone on espn ever wants to talk about is the vikings and cowboys, even though it's the same exact story every week. The analysis pisses me off too, i dont think most of them even know what they are talking about. The NFL channel has terrible analysts and host, but I love their playbook thing they do where they show how/why guys are open and stuff like that. I like going deep into film study of plays.

As a Falcons fan I'm a little nervous about this weeks match up with the Packers. They have an awesome defense and obviously the offense isn't too shabby. 3 out of the Falcons next six are going to be tough then we have a game against Seattle that who knows and also two against the Panthers.

Totally agree about the Falcons not getting nearly enough attention by the way.

I am definitely nervous about the Packers. I think they are a better overall team, but we are playing at home.. and the falcons are one of the best home teams in the league. Maybe the best. Matt Ryan is like 19-1 or something crazy at home. On offense I think we will be fine. Control the pace of the game and convert managable 3rd downs and have long drives. But we HAVE to get touchdowns and not field goals because I am really worried about atlanta's defense and giving up big plays. Why are you worried about Carolina? Those are EASY wins, they are terrible. We should murder them twice. Seattle is only tough cause it's in Seattle and traveling to the west coast is tough for eastern teams, but we are way better than them too. Only games I am really worried about are New Orleans (but we have them at home!) and then @ Tampa Bay, who is over rated big time but almost beat us at home.

Yeah I'm not so much worried about our offense as I am defense. I didn't mean I was worried about the Panthers/Seattle games I realized I made that totally unclear after re-reading the post. heh. I meant the Green Bay, Saints, and TB game. Luckily we've got GB and Saints at home and like you said the Falcons are possibly the best at home. Like you said we barely slipped by Tampa Bay in Atlanta so I'm a little nervous but I think we're playing a little better now than we were then. Hopefully we can at least win the Saints, TB, and both Panthers game being they are all divisional games.

EXACTLY. I refuse to give these kind of stories my internet clicks, or my ratings. I don't care who Farve texted, or who Tony Romo is dating or who got a DUI. When did ESPN become TMZ? But in the off chance I missed my team play, I want a bigger chunk of the game replayed.
