I can't imagine all of that kind of stuff we'll see over the lockout. The players always get in trouble in the offseason. Maybe the lockout is the NFL's way of getting rid of all the riff-raff haha.

Oh I forgot that right now the players arent under any kind of union rules as far as conduct. Yeah this should definatley be an interesting offseason. I got dibs on Pacman Jones for hitting the highlight reel of top 10 off season arrest stories. Is Plaxico Burress out yet? Throw him in there...half the Bengals squad really. Oh and lets hope Roethelisburger stays away from frat parties this time.

What's the over/under on how many girls Big Ben will rape? (gotta deal with not being able to watch football somehow)

Haha I'm not sure why, outside of losing so often, but he came out with a quote that basically said: "I want to be traded. I will never put on a Bengals uniform again. I have $80 million in the bank and am perfectly fine retiring, f- the Bengals."

Bloozcrooz 03-30-2011 06:25 PM

I hear he plays golf with Christian Contemporary Gospel singers now so maybe he's reformed. If I had to guess though id say at least ehhh 2 or 3?

Yeah we could have like a offseason criminal super bowl. Whoever gets the most prison time in the off season

Thom Yorke 03-30-2011 08:28 PM

I would definitely be down for that. Everyone can be a winner if they play.

I hope Carson Palmer actually does retire. I've never really liked the Bengals much. I think Marvin Lewis is a bum coach who has gotten way too long of a leash since he has been in Cinci. And I think Carson has been overrated his whole career too and he's not been nearly as good since that bad knee injury he had a couple seasons ago. He seems like a smart guy and if he wants pack up his bags and lounge in luxury instead of playing for a terrible team, then I hope he goes for it and this isn't just a gimmick to put pressure on Cinci to trade him.

At this point I would be more surprised if Pacman Jones DIDN'T get arrested this off-season. I think it'd be hilarious if all the players went buckwild and there were a ton of arrests this off-season.

One thing I hate though is how big of a deal everyone makes of players, especially ones who have been in some sort of trouble, going out and partying. I hate Big Ben, I think he's a scumbag low-life and I was happy he didn't win the Superbowl this year. But did anyone else see how they were talking about how he was singing karaoke at a bar the week before the superbowl? And every time someone is at a strip club it's like they make it into the crime of the century. These guys get paid tons of money, let them live it up and party. You better believe if I had millions of dollars I would be hitting up strip joints and screwing strippers. Who cares, it isn't illegal, let a man live his life. Then the player always comes out with the standard apology written by his agent: "I apologize for my actions. They were irresponsible blah blah blah." I hate that shit so much, it's like they fall into a trap. I want more athletes who don't care and are just like "I went to the strip joint, took shots from a strippers cleavage, drank some beers with my boys and then went home with my entourage and we all banged slutty models."

Bloozcrooz 03-30-2011 10:40 PM

Amen to that man...im really not seeing the point of apologizing for things of that nature. It only makes for a story on ESPN and a quick topic to see if anyone else heard and thats the extent of it. Really I dont care who does what cause nobody really knows whats scandal and whats not. One can only assume and assumption is the mother of all **** ups. I joke but I dont know the facts anymore than anyone else does.

But like Jalen Rose aplogizing for running off the road after a few drinks. He didnt hit anyone and its not like he had a kid in the car with him. He wasnt ten times the legal limit or anything. The roads were icy and he was tipsy! For ****s sake "who cares" Dont apologize...just be like.."yeah man I was pretty ****ed up when I came around that corner but I didnt hit ****. No harm no foul just a little probation." Im not promoting drunk driving but damn. That doesnt take away from anything he's done on the court or make him an awful person.

Good thing its not the early 90's or Irvin would probaly be getting popped for cocaine possesion. Or Nate Newton for smuggling weed or god knows. You can bet one man that will be in the spot light is Vick. Im pretty sure if he farts near a dog that PETA will have him thrown in jail. Or if he does anything out of the norm..or what they deem the norm.

now their saying P.Peterson took a bribe to go to LSU. *******s seem to attract rumors. Being an ******* isnt a crime and most *******s are to honest for their own good and have a better work ethic than the darlings of the media. Just cuz someone doesnt consent to the structured controlled environment of humanity. Doesnt mean his integrity should be questioned

Thom Yorke 04-28-2011 09:23 PM

I don't even want to analyze the draft because of what the Vikings did. Perfect replacement for Pat Williams sitting right there and instead you let him go to a division rival for what will become the most feared DT duo in the league for the next 10 years. And that's without even considering who they took instead...
