You mean the weight of the barbell? It's not an olympic barbell so it won't be 20kg or more, not sure how heavy it is, quite heavy though.

The standard bar here is 45 lbs in the States.

I figured as much. My kilogram translator is broken at the moment.

Kinda odd it translates to 44.0925 lbs, I wonder if American bars weigh under 45 lbs also and they round up.

Yeah we are talking about the same bar, mine isn't one of those. I am unsure now tho as i have 10kg weight plates and off the top of my head I could imagine my barbell being 20kg comparing the weights.

I will weigh it then report back.

Actually its worldwide. Its called an olympic bar I believe. Any weightlifting competition will have a 45 pound equivalent bar.

Yeah 20kg = olympic bar.

Semantics really as 20kg and 45lbs are the same. I have noticed though some barbells have wider collars, mine does not.

They're 20kg here too, sometimes we get 25kg ones but they are obviously not Olympic.

Does anyone else hate Ab work as much as I do? Theres something miserable about being horizontal.

I feel like you can always do more - that theres no point where you can't do another crunch. I just hate it. I've tried doing Yoga poses for abs but its the same story.

I absolutely love abs. Favorite part of any workout.
You don't need to to horizontal, either. Do some hanging leg lifts.

Also, to reduce the amount of reps you can do, add a lot of weight. Your core can handle a lot. Get a rope on the cable machine, sit on your knees, and boom, non-horizontal workout that you wont be able to do more than 25 reps on (if you add most of the stack).
