I found out that I have osteoporosis in my left foot (my stance is goofy) from an injury that happened last year when I was working in a lumberyard. I can walk fine, but the way I push off uses the exact same area that I fractured so I can't skate anymore, which I find pretty effing lame.

My friend rides goofy as well, and it sometimes gets confusing when he pretends to skateboard by jumping and kicking his feet.

I tried that the next day, but I've been skating around since I was 10 and it's like trying to write with my right hand with me (lefty), just doesn't work.

pushing mongo is like playing bass with one finger. sure you'll get used to it and you might be able to do really well, but you look like a damn idiot

Mongo is the only way I can push, unless I'm going really slow. (I stand goofy)
If I try to push off the normal way, my center of gravity gets all wacked and I bite it. Plus I have more pushing power in my right leg, and more pop in my left. It's all fucked up.

It's not that hard to switch, I pushed mongo for the first couple of years I skated before I even realised there was anything odd about it. It took maybe a week's worth of skating before I was fine pushing regular.

I can push both but I chose to skate mongo, and Im pretty sure when I tre flip an 9 set I dont look too much like an idiot.
