Bent > Zamora > Heskey.

Heskey is an absolute donkey. Bit of a mystery why Bent isn't in the squad.

And I bet Rooney gets a lot better service at Man Utd than Bent does at Sunderland.

I'd take him in a heartbeat.
What service? :-P

Wait

Forwards: Darren Bent (Sunderland), Peter Crouch (Tottenham), Jermain Defoe (Tottenham), Emile Heskey (Aston Villa), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United).

What are we on about?

The person who said that Bent was one of the players named in the squad that should have been left at home.

Ah sorry, I've just had an afternoon nap and I'm a bit hazy. I'll come round in a minute.

Even though I'm a United fan I'm surprised Carrick has made the squad, then again I think he's just there as an option for Barry/Huddlestone. But if Carrick gets much playing time I'll be extremely surprised. I expect a couple of cameo appearances because he's had quite a bad season, if he stays in the summer, here's to hoping he has a much better campaign.

I just meant that I don't think he'll make the final 23 (unless Capello leaves Wright-Phillips at home and goes with five strikers).

On one hand i think a five man midfield with a holding player in the centre would probably be the only way to justify playing both Gerrard and Lampard in the centre too. On the the other hand though, i think that would be a hell of a responsibility for Huddlestone.
