Or does your jealousy and hatred of the English outweigh the love for your own country?

Outstanding from Australia today.
Typical Aussie fighting spirit almost won the day with just 10 men.
Unlucky.
I just bagged on a friend of mine for a similar review. I thought Ghana played very well. It may just be their style I really love but I think the Anglos have an Aussie bias.

Of course we have an Aussie bias.
We have a secret U.S.A. bias too.

Ghana were found lacking against a 10 man Australia in a match, that seemed to me at least, that Ghana couldn't have won if they played until the middle of next week.
I think Aussie would have took the match with a full 11.

I actually used to hate U.S.A. but then I came here and spoke to some of you.
Now I secretely root for them in games.

Yes it is Brennan.
I'd love to see both England and the U.S. progress to the next round.

I'm the friend that Brennan bagged on earlier. His selective reading led him to his Aussie-bias conclusion. I was only guilty of finding less to talk about on the Ghanian side of things than the Australian, mostly because the Black Stars disappeared in the second half.

In the first half, when Australia was at full strength and after they scored their goal, the Aussies could barely get out of their half because of the pressure the Black Stars put on them.

Then, they got their PK and seemed to lose all initiative and ran out of ideas on the far side of the midfield line.

Come on Brennan. You know the Brits love you really.
We're just not very good at showing it.

Big hello to Brennan's friend and a question.
Is he just as eccentric in real life?

Of course it does. The vast majority of Scottish football fans couldn't give two shits about their national team. They know they aren't going to succeed and so focus all of their attention on hating England. Its pathetic.

I almost feel sorry for the Scottish football fans who aren't like this because the majority are pricks who arent worth even attempting to have a conversation about football with.

EDIT: Huh, kind of reminds me of Geordies.
