England played better in that game than when they played Mexico & Japan, and they won those games.
It was a disappointing result but it's not the end of the world. Lots of the good teams start off slow and gradually improve. And judging from their last few games England are doing that. I don't think the USA ever really looked like winning that game.

Well see. If America can turn up the heat in the first 15 for a change I think we'll do much better than expected.

There is a possibility America could go through to at least quarters as they're a good team, but it all depends on whether they can defend themselves to get there.
