Love this quote; Paul Gascoigne has told Real Radio he knew Moat years ago when Moat worked as a bouncer in Newcastle. The former footballer described him as a "gentleman" and said someone must have wound him up or done something.

No shit Paul?

Former England footballer Paul Gascoigne suggested to Metro Radio he had brought the wanted man a "can of lager, some chicken, a mobile phone and something to keep warm".

I think the police have their guns trained on the wrong man!

Don't go there again. That was offensive.

Why was it offensive? It wasn't meant to be, it's just the way I feel. Maybe because my granddad fought in the war, I dunno. However I already explained I had nothing against the place or the people, it's history. I bought a German a pint of lager on holiday! I just don't want them to do well, and I love Spain a fair bit. So I'm glad they won. I just can't cheer for Germany, that's all.

I wasn't giving modern Brits sh*t for it, only pointing out that all countries did nasty things in the past.

Anyway, I feel this discussion is rather pointless. Who do you people reckon will win tonight?

Uruguay as they`re more likely to take what is a pointless match seriously.

I hope Uruguay do it, Forlan has been great this tournament and so has Saurez, until I put him in my fantasy team and he gave me -2 points. C*nt.

But I reckon Germany will do it, just for a bit of pride. Could go either way because of how pointless it is really..

I think Germany will win, but I'm rooting for the Uruguayans.
I'm looking forward to seeing Suarez play again and interested to see if they've got the Germans sussed.

I was on the edge of my seat during that last kick by Uruguay! I honestly thought they were going to get it in, as from what I've seen from Uruguay they love to come from behind.
Also, you gotta have some sympathy of Suarez, it must be a terrible feeling having an entire continent hate your guts.
