Default LeBron James

LeBron James goes back to Cleveland to play the Cavaliers tonight. Probably the biggest December basketball game of all-time, certainly in the past decade or so I have been following the NBA. I can only imagine the ratings for this game.

Anyone who watches basketball has an opinion on LeBron James. With 'The Decision' this off-season, he has went from one of the most beloved sports stars to one of the most hated.

Personally I think he will go down as one of the top 3 players to ever play the game of basketball. There are generations of people that will NEVER see anyone as better than Michael Jordan, no matter what they accomplish. I understand that completely, but I really don't like to compare players in different eras, it's tough to do. I adore MJ. Kobe is this generations MJ with the attitude and rings to back it up (plus the Phil jackson connection).

I like LeBron James. He is atop the pop culture totem pole and he knows it. I don't think he's an arrogant *******, and though the Heat are struggling right now, I think the Heat will win multiple championships with him on the team. I wish he would have stayed in Cleveland, but he took less money for a chance to win some rings and I can't blame him for that.

The world has just never seen an athlete like LBJ. He is a power forward with a linebackers body who is the fastest guy on the court and can jump out of the building. The fact that he was the most hyped high school player ever and still managed to exceed expectations is unbelievable to me.

I'm expecting chaos tonight in Cleveland. Probably the loudest chorus of boos I will ever hear. But I think the Heat win by 10+. They are WAY better than Cleveland and I think they will be just as amped for this game as the Cavs will be.
