Electrophonic Tonic's NFL Power Rankings

This is something I've always done on the other forums I've participated on. Usually I have these up by Tuesday afternoon. Pretty straight forward, just power rankings of the NFL teams. Completely subjective to my opinion. If anyone else wants to post some rankings, feel free. And maybe if we get enough people, we can have an official MB power rankings, that are an average of all rankings submitted.

Thanks for reading!

Electrophonic Tonic's NFL Power Rankings: Pre-season

1. Green Bay Packers- The champs look as good as ever, and get Ryan Grant back.

2. New England Patriots- The loss to the Jets is fresh in their mind, and the addition of Chad Whatsmynameo will benefit Tom Brady.

3. New Orleans Saints- The best team in the league's best division.

4. Philadelphia Eagles- Not a dream team, but a damn good team. That secondary is stacked.

5. Atlanta Falcons- Is Matt Ryan ready to step up and be elite this season? Julio Jones and Roddy white are hoping so.

6. Pittsburgh Steelers- No real losses or additions to report. Will being stagnant help or hurt this season?

7. New York Jets- Mark Sanchez is entering his third year. Are they ready to finally dethrone the Patriots?

8. Indianapolis Colts- Many are predicting the Texans will finally rise up and take over the division. Peyton Manning's neck will decide that.

9. Baltimore Ravens- That impressive defense is about to collectively file with AARP. It's up to Flacco and co. to capitalize on this short window.

10. Houston Texans- Wade Phillips isn't a great head coach, but he's a damn good coordinator. Can he fix the Texans D and make it comparable to an explosive offense?

11. San Diego Chargers- Always a threat in the regular season, but never in the playoffs. If Rivers wants to cement himself as an elite QB, he needs to lead them beyond a playoff berth.

12. Kansas City Chiefs- Even with a questionable passing game, the running game is one of the best in the league.

13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- A young team on the rise. Too bad they're in the same division as the Falcons and Panthers.

14. New York Giants- Lots of injuries, but that defense will keep them in games.

15. Chicago Bears- The defense is getting old. Can Jay Cutler cut it? (Did you see what I did there?!)

16. St. Louis Rams- If Sam Bradford avoids a sophomore slump, they could be a dangerous team.

17. Dallas Cowboys- They were a major disappointment last season. This season will answer the fluke question.

18. Detroit Lions- Watch out.

19. Arizona Cardinals- Kevin Kolb could be the answer. And in a weak NFC West... you never know.

20. Oakland Raiders- Inside the division... 6-0. Outside the division... 2-8. That says everything right there.

21. Jacksonville Jaguars- Even if MJD is healthy, Garrard and Gabbert can't do too much.

22. Minnesota Vikings- Donovan McNabb wants to erase the nightmare of last season. With AP in the backfield, he might just be able to do that.

23. Seattle Seahawks- They made the playoffs and had a losing record last year. One of those two scenarios will happen again. Can you guess which one?

24. San Francisco 49ers- They have the beastly Frank Gore and... and... and. . . yeah.

25. Tennessee Titans- I'm guessing Matt Hasselbeck wanted to win right now... why the hell did he sign with the Titans?

26. Denver Broncos- John Fox turned a 1-15 Panthers team into a Super Bowl team in 2 seaons. What can he do with the Broncos?

27. Cleveland Browns- Peyton Hillis was a surprise winner of the Madden 12 cover contest. Maybe the Browns will surprise some people this year too...

28. Miami Dolphins- I'm having a hard time finding a reason to keep them this low. But it's even harder finding a reason to have them higher.

29. Buffalo Bills- A young team who may be a player in a few years. Right now? Not so much.

30. Washington Redskins- When your starting QB is either Rex Grossman or John Beck... you're in trouble.

31. Carolina Panthers- Cam Newton looks pretty good so far... but he's still rookie on a rebuilding team.

32. Cincinnati Bengals- No Palmer + No Johnson/Ochocinco + Lots of rookies = No hope.

Michael Scott Miller 09-02-2011 06:46 AM

I'm an Eagles fan and I agree with your assessment. Not a dream team. The secondary is stacked but the linebackers are weak. Ditto the offensive line. They could disappoint this year.

I know it's only the preseason, but the Steelers looked great against the Eagles. I hate to say it, but you may be moving them up the chart quickly.

YorkeDaddy 09-02-2011 08:01 PM

I disagree with a few of your picks. I'd go:

1. GBP (no doubt)
2. Eagles - ridiculous secondary, and ridiculous offense as always. Michael Vick is too good. These guys are my definite super bowl pick.
3. Pats - Brady's out for blood. He's got some new options to throw to, and he's gonna wreck some defenses this season.
4. Falcons - In my opinion, the third best QB right now after Rodgers and Vick. And this is undeniably the season of the QB, so the team with one of the best QBs will obviously be rated high. This defense is just too good, and Matt Ryan is hungry to get farther in the playoffs.
5. Steelers - The same team as last year, which means they are damn good.

I think you give the Saints a little too much credit. That's my top 5 though.

Thom Yorke 09-04-2011 11:59 AM

Elite

1. Packers - I hate them but the Packers have to be considered the best. They have insane depth everywhere.

2. Pats - It'll be interesting to see what their tight ends do this season though; seriously, who saw that coming at the start of last season?

3. Jets - They keep knocking at the door. It's bound to open soon.

4. Eagles - Another team I hate but I have to give them credit here. The secondary is incredible. I've always said Asomugha is hands down the best corner, and he's right up there for one of the best players in the league. I do see Vick having a setback though.

5. Steelers - Pretty much a sure thing to have a solid season.

6. Falcons - I think you're way overrating the Saints. The Falcons are the class of this division. Easily the most complete offense in the league.

7. Colts - Manning assures them as a contender. I doubt he'll miss much significant time, if any at all. And even though he's questionable forr week 1, Austin Collie was starting to break out as a real threat last year before he got injured. He could be a huge boost.

Second Teir

8. Ravens
9. Chargers
10. Saints
11. Texans
12. Giants
13. Bears

Middle of the Pack

14. Chiefs
15. Vikings
16. Cowboys
17. Rams
18. Titans
19. Buccaneers
20. Lions

Below Average

21. Seahawks
22. Jaguars
23. Cardinals
24. Dolphins
25. Raiders
26. 49ers
27. Browns

Bottom Feeders

28. Broncos
29. Redskins
30. Bills
31. Bengals
32. Panthers

I take offense to the term "bottom feeder". It's just that we're in our 11th straight year of rebuilding.

Thom Yorke 09-06-2011 01:46 PM

As a Vikings fan I share your pain. The Bills and Vikings are the only teams that have been in more than two Superbowls without winning (they're both 0-4). It sucks even more knowing your team should contend only to bomb or choke year after year.

YorkeDaddy 09-07-2011 10:42 AM

As an Eagles and a Colts fan...I don't share any of your pain really lolz

Well actually, the Eagles are due a Bowl.

crash_override 09-11-2011 04:34 AM

Packers offense is unstoppable, if we can get the defense up to par and stay healthy, should be looking at another deep playoff run.

YorkeDaddy 09-11-2011 08:13 PM

Well, the Falcons disappointed, to say the least.

Electrophonic Tonic 09-13-2011 10:35 AM

New power ranking will be up sometime around 4pm, after I get out of class.

Electrophonic Tonic 09-13-2011 08:49 PM

Week 2

1. Green Bay Packers- Don't judge by the final score, Green Bay was in complete control of that game.

2. New England Patriots- We forget Tom Brady had an int, but that was one of the greatest QB performances in the last 10 years none the less.

3. Philadelphia Eagles- They beat a Rams team that turned into a M*A*S*H unit by the 3rd quarter. Vick did the things he needed to do.

4. Baltimore Ravens- The Ravens made a statement by blowing out the Steelers because this is a rivalry where the games are always close.

5. New Orleans Saints- Drew Brees had one of the best games, and the Saints still lost. They can't play defense, can anyone in the NFC South?

6. Houston Texans- They've started out the season strong. The question is can they maintain it...

7. Pittsburgh Steelers- I think they'll bounce back, and they certainly not forget the Ravens running up the score on them.

8. San Diego Chargers- Phillip Rivers continues to be a damn good QB as the Chargers look to cakewalk through that division.

9. New York Jets- Sorry Rex. The Cowboys lost that game. After a huge interception by Revis, how can you only gain 2 yards to set up a game winning 56 yard field goal?

10. Atlanta Falcons- Ouch. But, then again, they're not designed to win outdoor, smash-mouth football.

11. Chicago Bears- Every time I want to doubt then, they step it up and prove me wrong. A strong win.

12. Detroit Lions- Don't adjust your set. If my power rankings determined the playoffs, the Lions would be in.

13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- They'll still be good. In a hard fought game against the Lions, they came up just short.

14. Dallas Cowboys- They played well enough to win... for 51 minutes. Romo can't make those mistakes and expect to win. They move up because so many fell past them.

15. Arizona Cardinals- Kolb played well, but it was a team effort, despite Cam Newton's atomic passing numbers.

16. St. Louis Rams- They were in the game until the injuries began to pile up. It means a lot that a healthy Rams team could match up with the Eagles.

17. Jacksonville Jaguars- Despite the controversy and QB drama, they stepped it up and played well.

18. Oakland Raiders- I think they could be the 13th best team, but we penalized them 5 spots on a false start.

19. Indianapolis Colts- I'm giving them a reprieve at #19. I hear Peyton has a brother not named Eli, maybe they should call him.

20. San Francisco 49ers- Ted Ginn sighting! Harbaugh did well in his opening game.

21. New York Giants- Coughlin's job is on the line I think. Losing to Rex Grossman's Redskins is not going to help.

22. Miami Dolphins- Chad Henne proved his doubters wrong, at least until next week.

23. Buffalo Bills- There are pornos that do a better job, rather than my words, of explaining what the Bills did to the Chiefs.

24. Kansas City Chiefs- I don't care how many players they have injured, I have never seen a team more listless on opening day, especially at home.

25. Washington Redskins- Rex Grossman had a good gam.... gam... gam............ I can't bring myself to finish that sentence.

26. Cincinnati Bengals- They won. Barely. But they won. Who knows how many more times that will happen this season.

27. Minnesota Vikings- I had more passing yards than Donovan McNabb.

28. Seattle Seahawks- They're not that good, but 2 kick returns in less that a minute... really?!

29. Carolina Panthers- Of the bottom 4 teams, they had the most respectable loss. For them, that might as well count as a win.

30. Cleveland Browns- A common theme for the week: teams failing to take advantage when they could have won.

31. Denver Bronocs- They lost by 3. As a Broncos fan, it felt like 100 points.

32. Tennessee Titans- They fall for failing to take advantage of a depleted Jaguars squad.

YorkeDaddy 09-14-2011 08:35 PM

1. Packers
2. Patriots
3. Eagles
(indisputable top 3)
4. Ravens - You don't blow out the Steelers without being extremely good.
5. Bears - You don't blow out the Falcons without being extremely good.
6. Saints - If they play like that against ANY other team, they will win easy.
7. Jets - Don't count them out just because they weren't convincing against Dallas
8. Chargers - What matters is what they do in the playoffs.
9. Texans - Honestly they probably should've beaten the Colts even worse than they already did.
10. Steelers - That was embarrassing, but they're sure to bounce back. They always do.
11. Falcons - My faith in this team got slaughtered by those Bears.
12. Buccaneers - One of the top 10 QBs in the league means you're gonna have a decent team.
13. Cowboys - This team is an anomaly to me.
14. Lions - Could this be their year? Perhaps.
15. Raiders - Shaky win against the Broncos? I still have faith in Oakland.
16. Dolphins - Great defense (except against Tom), and if Henne can play like he did on Monday night more often, they'll be good.
17. Rams
18. Panthers - Despite the loss, I wouldn't be surprised if Cam Newton begins to bring this franchise together again.
19. Giants - I can't bring myself to put them higher than this. They've been a massive disappoint the past few seasons.
20. Cardinals - Kolb can't carry a team. The Cardinals will not be very good.
21. Bills - That Chiefs game was obviously a fluke overall, but they're still gonna be better than last year.
22. 49ers
23. Jaguars - Ehhh...they messed up with the whole QB situation.
24. Browns - They lost to an awful team, but I still have faith in this team and that they can possibly be an 8-8 team this season. But it'll take some work.
25. Vikings - The best running back in the league can't help this team anymore.
26. Redskins - They played great against the Giants........I doubt they'll be playing great many more times this season.
27. Seahawks - playoffs last year, blah blah blah. They'll be 6-10.
28. Chiefs - Ohhhh this team has a lot of problems to try and fix.
29. Titans - Remember when Hasselbeck was on a good team? That was a magical time.
30. Broncos - Maybe someday they'll reach their former...glory...
31. Colts - I'm a Colts fan. I have no hope in this team.
32. Bengals - They have a win!!!!...that's probably about all they'll get.

Sparky 09-14-2011 11:10 PM

Why are people so optimistic about the lions this year?

Maybe i need to see the highlights from last game, but , come on, its the lions

YorkeDaddy 09-18-2011 12:49 PM

Well, they're winning fairly convincingly right now too.

Electrophonic Tonic 09-20-2011 08:45 PM

Week 3

1. Green Bay Packers- Sorry Pats, but the Pack will stay here till they lose.

2. New England Patriots- Dismantled the Chargers and Brady was a surgeon yet again. But that defense...

3. New Orleans Saints- Beat a good Bears team, and the offense looks unstoppable at home.

4. New York Jets- Beat a hapless Jags team and Sanchez was fairly consistent.

5. Houston Texans- Congrats to the 2011 AFC South Division Champions.

6. Pittsburgh Steelers- They were in cruise control during pregame warmups. The Seahawks are a great team to bounce back against.

7. Philadelphia Eagles- They are ahead of the Falcons because they almost won the game with their 3rd string QB. They are likely the best team in the NFC East with or without Vick. But beyond that...

8. Atlanta Falcons- Good win at home and Matt Ryan is starting to come into his own. They remain below the Eagles because of how they lost to the Bears.

9. Detroit Lions- They're in a battle of blue and silver next week, but I believe the underdog Lions are truly America's team.

10. San Diego Chargers- They've been too good for too long to fail in big games as much as they do. I expect that to keep happening till they hire a new head coach.

11. Baltimore Ravens- Who, whose the real team? The one that spanked the Steelers, or the one that folded against the Titans?

12. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- That was a good comeback, but they should know how to jump ahead of a team like the Vikings.

13. Chicago Bears- Jay Cutler is not a bad QB, but when his offensive defends him like the French, they are in trouble.

14. Dallas Cowboys- Respect for Tony Romo. And who knew Jon Kitna was still alive?!

15. Buffalo Bills- I'm calling it right now. They beat the Patriots for the first time in 8 years.

16. Washington Redskins- One more game and I might have something not negative to say about Rex Grossman. In all seriousness, as a Broncos fan, I know what Mike Shanahan can do with a QB he likes.

17. Oakland Raiders- Again, they don't win a game outside the division. It's a fatal flaw if they want to be taken seriously.

18. New York Giants- As much as I love football, that MNF game was ugly beyond believe. But a win is a win, right?

19. Arizona Cardinals- They had that game won. Still, Kolb looks like a good fit.

20. St. Louis Rams- It's all about the injuries. But Bradford can play.

21. San Francisco 49ers- Alex Smith is playing not bad. Yes, that is a grammatically correct compliment.

22.Tennessee Titans- I doubt will be this good again for the rest of the year. But, with Johnson and a mistake free Hasslebeck, they'll give their opponents fits.

23. Denver Broncos- If they are 2-1 next week, there may be hope.

24. Jacksonville Jaguars- Luke McCown almost pulled a Blutarski in ESPN's new QB rating. (0.4 out of 100)

25. Miami Dolphins- So, any thought on the new coach next season?

26. Carolina Panthers- To all the Cam Newton believers and doubters: Once is luck, twice is coincidence... and three times is proof.

27. Cleveland Browns- If there is one thing I will never forgive Josh McDaniels for, it was trading Peyton Hillis to the Browns for Brady Quinn.

28. Minnesota Vikings- Anyone else feel like McNabb is going down hill WAY too fast?

29. Cincinnati Bengals- Dalton to Green. I think we can get used to hearing that on Sundays.

30. Kansas City Chiefs- The guys on injured reserve are the truly lucky ones on this team.

31. Indianapolis Colts- Does Peyton REALLY need his neck? He needs to do his best Ronnie Lott impression to turn them around.

32. Seattle Seahawks- He avoided violations by skipping out of the NCAA, but Pete Carol's NFL team is a crime against humanity.

Thom Yorke 09-21-2011 11:16 AM

I'd put the Pats above the Packers. They look unbeatable.

YorkeDaddy 09-21-2011 04:48 PM

1. Patriots - They can not and probably will not be stopped.
2. Packers - They've been playing well, but not as well as the Patriots.
3. Jets - That AFC East is ridiculous this year.
4. Saints - They have one loss. Will they get much more than that??
5. Eagles - They should have won that game. Even with their third string in for the fourth quarter they almost won.
6. Steelers - Well that sure was a convincing bounce back. I don't expect these guys to be fluctuating as much the rest of the season.
7. Chargers - It was a decent effort against the Patriots, honestly.
8. Lions - This could be their year!!!!!!!!!!
9. Falcons - They pulled out a decent win against the Eagles to prevent an 0-2 start. They need to start playing like I know they can.
10. Texans - They're fairly good, but their division is just so horrible this year.
11. Ravens - wtf was that
12. Bears - I love it when a team I hate plays very poorly. Hopefully this continues!
13. Cowboys - Romo is a stud, but they shouldn't have needed a comeback victory against a team like that anyway.
14. Buccaneers - Anything other than a slaughter of the Vikings is pretty bad.
15. Bills - They have been on fire lately.
16. Raiders - Bills won, so they get the spot over these guys.
17. Redskins - I'm still not convinced. We'll see what Grossman can do in the coming weeks.
18. Giants - They don't really budge. That MNF win was pretty ugly.
19. Rams - Bradford/10
20. Panthers - They keep losing, but Newton also keeps showing us that he's inhuman. If he keeps it up, they're bound to get wins soon.
21. Cardinals - They played alright. But still lost. Kolb's doing well for them though.
22. Dolphins - Well...they're trying.
23. 49ers - Hey, Alex Smith, keep doing what you're doing...I guess
24. Titans - They pounded the Ravens. What is the world coming to?
25. Broncos - I'll be shocked impressed if they win next week.
26. Bengals - Andy Dalton? Holy ****!
27. Vikings - Sigh.
28. Browns - Well, they can't go 0-16.
29. Chiefs - These guys, on the other hand, can.
30. Seahawks - These guys are just BAD
31. Jaguars - Haha, 0-16 anyone?
32. Colts - Haha, 0-16 anyone? One of these teams will do it.

Electrophonic Tonic 09-21-2011 06:58 PM

You a Vikings fan, Yorkedaddy?

I just saw your post at the top of the thread. But Yorkedaddy's comments in his power rankings about the Vikings and Bears made me think he was a Vikings fan...

Imagine if you will: two internet forum posters, linked by a very similar user name and a love for the purple and gold. First the end zone, next stop...

I'm ashamed to say that latter part...<_<

At least your team has something to show for the last decade plus...

YorkeDaddy 09-22-2011 07:43 PM

If anything, I'd call it a disappointment though. Only one super bowl? God, we should've gotten at least two.

YorkeDaddy 09-25-2011 02:58 PM

I think we can almost legitimately start talking about the Bills as if they're in the top 10 teams in the league right now. That win wasn't a fluke, they legitimately beat the New England Patriots.

Sparky 09-25-2011 04:49 PM

Yeah how did that happen, 4 Brady interceptions?

Thom Yorke 09-25-2011 05:38 PM

Here are the stats for CJ2K through 3 games:

46 carries, 98 yards, 2.1 YPC, 0 TD

I actually found a breakdown of his carries too:

-3 yards - 1
-2 yards - 2
-1 yard - 1
0 yards - 7
1 yard - 10
2 yards - 9
3 yards - 4
4 yards - 6
5 yards - 1
6 yards - 1
7 yards - 2
8 yards - 1
9 yards - 1

Never liked him myself as I always found the fanboys who say he's better than AP annoying, but this is just sad. Whoever took him in fantasy must be kicking themselves.

Thom Yorke 09-25-2011 05:40 PM

The Bills could be 16-0 and I'd still question them. Never would have guessed this one. The Pats game has to go down as one of the biggest upsets, maybe ever.

It's a damn big upset, but nothing will top Jets over Colts in Super Bowl III.

That's really apples and oranges. The Bills had the 5th largest losing streak against one team with 15 vs. the Pats. We actually own the record with 20 against the Dolphins back in the 70's. For Bills fans, that's what made it such a momentous occasion.

Electrophonic Tonic 09-27-2011 10:28 PM

Week 4

1. Green Bay Packers- They hip, they hop, they hippity hop and they don't stop!

2. New Orleans Saints- Anyone else still wanna question me for having them this high at the beginning of the season? :p

3. New England Patriots- Tom Brady is now vincable.... whatever that means.

4. Detroit Lions- Packers v Lions... my game of the year to look forward to.

5. Buffalo Bills- 6-0 heading into the bye week...? It it more than possible. Just don't overlook a not terrible Bengals team.

6. Baltimore Ravens- Again, who is the real team? And we got no answers by them destroying a hapless Rams team.

7. Houston Texans- They can hang with the big boys... now they just gotta beat him.

8. San Diego Chargers- Not a good sign they almost lost to a pathetic Chiefs team... at home no less. T-minus 4 months to Norv's last game.

9. New York Jets- What do the defense and Mark Sanchez's nose have in common? They're both broken!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

10. Pittsburgh Steelers- Que the "It's not that great because Peyton didn't play yet again and these Colts would finish somewhere in the middle of the Big East." cries.

11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- They arn't winning pretty, but they're winning. The question is will they be able to keep up with the Saints' explosive offense?

12. New York Giants- They're playing well and are not that healthy right now. How good will they be once they get everyone back?

13. Oakland Raiders- Curb stopped and out Jeted the Jets. The Chargers better watch their back...

14. Dallas Cowboys- Tony Romo was amazing... in leading his team to 6 field goals and a win. Yay?

15. Washington Redskins- The defense played OK, but the offense needs to score more than 16 points to give them a chance.

16. Atlanta Falcons- I really don't know with these guys. For now, we'll keep them right in the middle of the pack.

17. Philadelphia Eagles- It's good news that Vick's hand is only bruised. But the team has underachieved overall.

18. Tennessee Titans- Matt Hasselbeck is giving them competent and consistent QB play. Jake Locker who?

19. Chicago Bears- Even I feel sorry for what Jay Cutler has to go through every game.

20. Cleveland Browns- A good Browns team will make the AFC North better than the typical Ravens/Steelers race each and every season.

21. San Francisco 49ers- Yes. The best team in the NFC West is ranked 21st... but what's new?

22. Arizona Cardinals- I think they can be really good next year.... if they hold on to Fitz.

23. Carlina Panthers- Cam Newton throws for 400 yards and they lose. Cam Newton throws for less than 200 yards and they win. Take note, Panthers coaching staff.

24. Seattle Seahawks- I didn't expect them to win that one. But still, it's not gonna be pretty this season.

25. St. Louis Rams- They're 0-3, but I still believe they are easily the best team in that division when they're healthy.

26. Denver Broncos- So the defense is getting there. Now, about that offense....

27. Jacksonville Jaguars- In a few years, they'll be Los Angeles' problem/mediocre football team.

28. Miami Dolphins- It's hard to imagine them having to compete with the rest of the now beastly AFC East.

29. Cincinnati Bengals- I don't think they're terrible, and I'm sure Marvin Lewis will keep his job after the season. (Somehow...)

30. Kansas City Chiefs- They tried versus the Chargers. I call it a moral victory.

31. Minnesota Vikings- Insert pun about dome roof and 2nd half collapses, Here: __________

32. Indianapolis Colts- Time to start Operation: Suck for (Andrew) Luck...?

YorkeDaddy 09-28-2011 05:51 PM

I honestly didn't think I would ever see a day when I would put both the Detroit Lions AND the Buffalo Bills in the top 5 teams in the NFL while the Indianapolis Colts are the worst team. But...that day has come.

You do realize that teams really only shape up the 2nd half of the season. The ones that start off hot will more than likely fade and when it comes playoff time all bets are off. Statistics, records, and all of that other junk goes out the window. Back to my point though..the second half of the season the experienced seasoned, and well coached teams persevere. Mostly due in part because they have learned how to game plan around the beginners luck teams. Then the real excitment starts

The Packers are starting off hot. Are they going to fade?

Honestly...I didnt think the Packers would go all the way last year and got proven wrong. I still dont know how they manage to be as good as they are with the squad they have. Im just not an Aaron Rogers fan..no particular reason why just dont like him. If Cam Newtons throwing for over 400 yards against your D though you may want to address some issues in your secondary. Whats going to happen when they face a team thats actually good? As of yet I dont see where they have played a team of any caliber. They Chicago rematch last Sunday was a joke cause we all know the Bears have issues with their offensive line and a lot of other areas as well. Im not sold on Green Bay but maybe I just dont like them as a team. I never liked Farve so maybe theres a lasting resentment for them as well. Who knows

I say the Saints win was a good one. The Saints are probably the 2nd best team in the NFC and Green Bay soundly beat them, despite the closeness of the final score.

You could could make an argument there that was a solid victory but...ehh. Im still not buying it. But I guess we'll all eventually find out...in the mean time. I'll somehow try an make it as a Cowboy fan. Even though my hopes are pretty feeble as long as Romo's our Q.B. Might not have to worry bout him to much after sundays game with Endomican Suh lol.

1. Packers - Aaron Rodgers is my Fantasy QB. I was rollin' in the points.
2. Saints - Drew Brees. That guy's pretty good.
3. Patriots - Who's this Ridley guy? Since when do the Pats have a running game?
4. Lions - That was one of the sweetest comebacks I've seen in a while.
5. Texans - They beat an honestly awful Pittsburgh team. Congrats.
6. Ravens - Well, their defense is brutal.
7. Chargers - lol
8. Bills - A foolish loss against the Bengals. I still have faith in them.
9. 49ers - These guys might actually be legit.
10. Redskins - I can't believe I'm saying this.
11. Buccaneers - Some shaky wins, but they're still 3-1.
12. Giants - Can't believe I'm saying this either.
13. Falcons - They need to be more consistent
14. Bears - Barely beating Carolina? Haha.
15. Titans - That 3-1 record is deceiving, but they're doing pretty well with Hasselbeck.
16. Jets - They are sucking it up lately.
17. Raiders - Well...they did okay against the Pats I guess.
18. Eagles - Damn it.
19. Cowboys - Way to blow that lead, guys.
20. Bengals - How are they winning games? I just don't get it.
21. Panthers - They have been so close on multiple occasions now.
22. Browns - Where's Peyton Hillis?
23. Cardinals - Three straight losses. Shame.
24. Steelers - The fact that I'm putting the Cardinals over them shows how horrible they've been playing lately.
25. Jaguars - Ew, ew, ew
26. Broncos - Whyyyyy won't they play Tebow?
27. Vikings - There's not much hope for this team.
28. Chiefs - Hey, they won a game!
29. Dolphins - No Henne? Oh dear.
30. Rams - Bradford is just not that good.
31. Seahawks - Despite Jackson having a decent game, they still can't get wins.
32. Colts - Decent enough defense. Horrific offense.

Week 4

1. Green Bay Packers- The offense is unstoppable, but the defense needs to pick it up.

2. Detroit Lions- To quote Sabres' play-by-play announcer Rick Jeanerette: "These guys are good! Scary good!"

3. New Orleans Saints- Starting to separate themselves from the rest of the NFC South

4. Baltimore Ravens- Maybe the defense isn't too old...

5. New England Patriots- The defense isn't fixed, and Mayo being injured won't help either.

6. Houston Texans- Let's see how good they are with Andre Johnson injured for a few weeks.

7. San Diego Chargers- Too close to losing to an inferior Dolphins team and the shakiest team in the top tier of the league.

8. Tennessee Titans- The real Music City Miracle is how good they are without Chris Johnson doing squat.

9. Buffalo Bills- The offense was limited against a very good defense. Can they rebound and learn from this loss?

10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Such an ugly team to watch, but they win.

11. San Francisco 49ers- I'm a believer... at least in the NFC West.

12. New York Giants- It's good to see a Manning playing well again.

13. Pittsburgh Steelers- The defense is aging like the Ravens, just not nearly as gracefully.

14. Dallas Cowboys- They are good, but they just can't seem to put it all together. Especially in the 4th quarter.

15. Washington Redskins- Starting to establish a running game, and that means the Shanahan plan is coming together.

16. Oakland Raiders- Penalties, penalties, penalties, penalties, penalties, penalties, penalties, penalties, penalties, penalties.

17. New York Jets- Speaking of old, bloated things that started in Baltimore...

18. Atlanta Falcons- At some point, they have to get their groove back... or will they?

19. Chicago Bears- Congrats to Devin Hester, the 2nd greatest special teams player of all time. If only the rest of your team actually could accomplish something...

20. Cincinnati Bengals- I told you they weren't that bad!

21. Philadelphia Eagles- Maybe a shootout with the Bills is the answer to their problems.

22. Arizona Cardinals- "The receiver gave himself up" my @$$.

23. Cleveland Browns- You have Peyton Hillis, why are you throwing 61 times?!?!?!?

24. Carolina Panthers- They're creeping back to respectability.

25. Jacksonville Jaguars- Blaine Gabbert can be really good when they have some actual receivers.

26. Denver Broncos- Dare I say that losing by 20+ to the Packers at home is respectable...?

27. Seattle Seahawks- Almost pulled off the comeback against the Falcons, so there are some encouraging signs of life.

28. Indianapolis Colts- Starting to figure out life after Manning and almost (should have) beat a very good Bucs team on the road.

29. Kansas City Chiefs- Beating the Vikings is like kicking a puppy with leukemia... it's easy, but does it really prove anything?

30. Miami Dolphins- Their long, national nightmare is finally over... in 12 games.

31. St. Louis Rams- Injuries, injuries, injuries...

32. Minnesota Vikings- They come from the land of ice and snow with the midnight sun and the football blows
