Texans got ran on by the packers pretty effectively monday night. AP needs 400 yards in 3 games, which means like 140 each. Teams have been stacking the box since the season started. 49ers, seahawks, bears, cardinals. AP has been getting 130+ on all of them without a passing game. You really think he's only going to get 250 more this season?

AP has the most yards after contact of any RB, it's not a matter of scheming to stop him. He will beat you.

he puts da team on his back doo

It was great last week, closest thing i've seen to a 1 on 1 matchup in football, Brandon Marshall vs A.P.

I really think we should use ap as wideout. Why not? If he doesn't catch it so what he's like all our other receivers then

Favre was the only one who utilized AP as a receiver. He had some issues dropping passes early in his career but he's much improved.

And he's got that YAC ability.

I think the Texans played a horrible game and they're currently ranked second in the nfl against the rush. Both GB and St Louis are in the top 15. I know Ap's a beast but hes gotta start to wear down eventually. Like to see where this prediction ends up. Whats your take on his rushing total Sparky?

Texans are average when it comes to yards per carry allowed. Everyone just abandons the run because the Texans are always up by so much. And even if they were amazing against the run, I'd like Peterson's chances against any run d. It's something that can get overhyped. Star players always find a way no matter who they're playing.

We should all wager guesses then and see who comes closest.

I'd say he came back from his injury earlier than advised which explain his early sluggishness. He got back to 100% like the 6th week in i believe he said. He's benefiting from great fullback's leading him (jerome felton, rhett elison) and some really solid run blocking throughout. I'd attribute a lot of texans success stopping the run is from not playing a lot of run focused teams. I can't think of any team that shoves the run game down the opponents throats like vikings, except maybe the seahawks.

I have total faith in AP having a big day at home against the pack. He ran 200 yards against them last time, granted without Clay Mathews but they way i figure Clay Mathews is just one more person for peterson to run over a la thom yorks gif above.

St.Louis i really don't know. I haven't watched them once this season. I hear amendola is a threat but we've won against marshall and megatron. As long as we don't get behind early vikings are going to feed the beast until he gets loose
