Although I really like those Sig -226's and Berettas that have Double Single action. Especially if you can cock the hammer back and have the first shot be single like a revolver if you want.
Yeah I remember you had the sig previously, must have been hard to let go of that piece. Double single is definitely the preferred animal of choice, but less that its gotta be double action. Gonna hit the range this weekend looking forward to it.

I obviously dont carry a gun, because I live in Canada. BUT, I do own a few guns and love to hunt.
My hunting Rifle is a Remington 30-06 Model 700. Swapped the Black Stock and Pan for a Camo Composite with a Mag.
And my Shotgun is a Remington 870 Super Mag. I mostly use it for shootin Clays, although I'd really like to get into bird hunting.

2 great choices. The Rem 700 is probably the most used rifle by police departments ever. (dont quote me on that) The 870 is undoubtedly the most popular shotgun in history. I have always owned the mossberg equivilent but wanted an 870.

Mossbergs are great because of the wildy long list of accessories for them. I almost bought a Mossberg 500 before the 870...But im very glad I got what I got. Black Fluted Barrel, Walnut Stock.

Brodawg their is hardly a shortage for the 870. Probly more 870s in the world than any other long gun ever made.

Bought myself a new fun gun today. Refurbished Soviet SKS 6.72x39.

Should be a fun gun. Bought 1120 rounds today for 200 bucks. Should take a while to fire those off...especially with the stock 5 round mag.

EDIT: Fuck yea Bayonets.

Super cheap gun to buy and to shoot. The gun itself was only 200 bucks, and comes with a few cool Soviet nicknacks. And the ammo is cheap as well if you buy in bulk. In small boxes its 10 bucks for 20 shots. But in bulk it was 200 bucks for 1200, and they sell it at all the outdoor stores around here. All the ammo comes on 10 round strip clips as well. Too bad its only got a 5 round mag.

Glock G19 Gen 3 owner here. (Can't get Gen 4 in CA unless you are LEO). Researched a lot of handguns before settling on the G19. What sealed the deal was the owner of the gun shot where I was looking wears one on his hip. Seeing as he can carry anything he wants I asked him why the Glock?

He answered that it may not be pretty but if the SHTF, it's the one he wants at his side.

I want a 1911 in .45 ACP. The cheapest new that I can find online is from American Tactical Imports for ~ $344 USD:
