Fine. Keep in mind though, moving to Boston is always an option.

At least you have a better hockey team. And a better baseball team.

In reference to the girl power thing, they were only talking about Shiwen outswimming Lochte in a 50m interval and getting close to his time in a 100m interval (the freestyle portions) in a 400m race. In the overall race, Lochte's time was half a minute ahead of Shiwen's and every male posted a better time than her in all of the heats. There were also questions about Lochte not having to go all-out with a big lead.

Still, that's really impressive for her to do that even for a short period of time. It really makes me wonder why she isn't participating in the freestyle events. Putting aside the fact that she's 16, her ability in all of the other swimming styles in the medley outside of the freestyle aren't that impressive. The amount of time she makes up in the freestyle is absolutely remarkable and I can't help but think she'd be smashing world records if she was in the freestyle-specific events.

Badminton scandal, Olympics 2012: Why were those Olympic badminton players trying to lose? And why is the sport so dirty? - Slate Magazine

Haha. Badminton is like a less serious, more asian version of tennis.

I'm happy that Canada grabbed a bronze medal in women's badminton (because of this scandal apparently), and also a silver in men's 8 rowing this morning!

Oh yeah man, the seedy underbelly of badminton is far worse than the likes of cock and dog fights, or any blood sport for that matter. What's worse is they hide it behind this facade of wholesomeness with their bright colours and and peppy attitude, but behind that mask is a soulless abyss that no light can ever penetrate.
