What they should do is instead of turning Cena heel is to make him an even more obnoxious babyface.
Have him be a stickler for fair play and have him admonish other faces for cheating or attacking other wrestlers telling them a bad example for the kids watching.

Bo Dallas was doing something similar in NXT but he did heelish things as well, have Cena do that but without acting like a heel, just have his self rightousness as the heel part of his character.

That way he could be a heel and still be a hero to all his make a wish kids.

He kind of already does that to a certain extent but I agree. That's what I would do. I don't think a real heel turn would even work for him at this point.

Come on, no one thought Hogan would turn heel either. Its gotta happen. Maybe it's like you say, and he's just too "good" that everyone just hates him even more than they already do, but there's no such thing as a wrestler who can't turn heel. Like I said, if Stone Cold can turn heel, if Hogan, if Rocky can turn heel, Cena can turn heel. It'll be the best thing to happen to wrestling in almost 20 years if it happened.
